The drums sound like drums playing during or before a war in feudal Japan, the main melody is distorted, intense sounds of a traditional Japanese instrument IDK the name of, the other background melodies also sound intense. The main melody in itself sounds dark, distorted, intense & even melancholic in a way, like you`re fighting a fighter so strong, skilled & dark that he s only heard of legends- *till now* and the fight is a *Death match* . I love those loud drums in the beginning that play right before the main melody kicks off, a great beginning.

@@azurespirit6591 Yea, you can say I become a Grammar Nazi sometimes :P I am actually playing the GBA port, in that one when you reach Akuma the game glitches & shows you Akuma`s win screen without even letting you fight him, but you can unlock the option to fight him in time attack, I tried it once, at 1st it looked easy... then he got me with a mid-air hadoken & then proceeded to kick my still recovering a$$. I have trained so much as Chun Li and yet he manages to beat me up like I`m some noob.

No sé de qué generación seas, yo me consideraba bueno en street figthter por los 90' y recuerdo que un amigo de mi colonia desbloqueo a Akuma cómo jefe final y ambos nos quedamos así como de ¿Quién es este que le ganó a bison bien fácil? Akuma le dió tremenda arrastrada a mi amigo, yo en ocasiones le había ganado a mi amigo pero vs Akuma no se defendió nada y ambos gastamos lo de las tortillas en las maquinitas hasta que llegó un wey ya veinteañero y si le ganó pero después de varias semanas.

Read about him first in EGM April 1994...In his proper first canon appearance, all it said was he comes in after you win every match in SS2TURBO...and waste Bison...I thought, Shit... He was originally based off an April fools joke in EGM 1992, where the said to get to the Sheng Long, or Gouken as hes now known as, you had to get perfects in every match up to Bison...then you had to last the entire time without getting hit until the time ran out on the last match or some ridiculous shit...they tried the same for SF3 in april of 97, but by then Akuma was canon, and Gouken would show up eventually in the games as a fighter in SFIV

A detail I love in Hyper Street Fighter 2, is that, initially, it will play M.Bison’s theme, only to hard cut to this the _second_ Akuma begins to use the Shun Goku Satsu on M.Bison.
