Hey you reinvented the Pump N Seal. They still sell them on their website and Amazon. For those non handy folks out there. Great video !

Ahhh watching you try to drill that piece was tough haha. Next time, Why not put it down on a sacrificial surface?? That can help you stabilize and maybe even secure it with a clamp or similar. Also, learn how to use your drill driver... It has an adjustable clutch. you probably have to put it into driver mode (rather than drill or impact mode), but then you can dial back the clutch so when it hits resistance (gets stuck and tries to drill open your hand), the clutch will simply slip (sounds like clicking) rather than rip the workpiece out of your hand 👍 that is literally what the clutch is for!!! Please read the manual or ask me any questions ... We cant have you drilling through your hand lmao Thanks for the vids. Came for your ebb flow diy bell setup

Nice job. I was thinking near the start of the video that there would be a flared adapter that would friction fit with the end of the pump and then flare out to be larger than the jar opening but smaller than the body of the jar making a tight fit with the neck of the jar with a rubber gasket. Then if you have typical canning lids where the disk comes apart from the threaded ring, the lid would come away from the jar slightly during pumping then seal again just like with regular canning. Then you wouldn't need to drill the lids.
