If you go to Studio then Comments, you can filter to see only Super Thanks comments - which can also help you with managing and interacting with Super Thanks comments specifically! (Check out 1:47 in this video for more on that)

It’s absolutely criminal that creators only get 70% of the Super Thank. It’s a disgrace and it’s disgusting and pathetic, KZbin should be ashamed of themselves. I’m going to try and refund the one I placed just a day or two ago so that I can actually give the person I would like to support the money they so desperately need and deserved. KZbin is a vile platform, and I’m sad that they abuse their power the way they do.

When I purchase anything online, I see payment options BEFORE I make payment, so I don't understand why it's a secret in this case. I suspect KZbin let you know only AFTER you commit to send a donation in order for you to sign up to yet another pay service.

Hello KZbin, this is great and thank you for bringing another revenue path, but if you stopped taking 30% of all donation type revenue, and started taking maybe a flat rate of $0.50 creators would stop promoting external sites such as Patreon. I know this would lead to less income for a KZbin, but this isn’t even KZbin’s main source of income.

I donate animal rescue channels, mostly to cat and dogs rescue channels and I’ve recently found out you take a large chunk from these donations! I cant help but think thats a bit exploitive for animal rescue charities considering how desperately these channels need funding for food and medicines! Considering the wealth that youtube possess … this tax on the $thanks button should be waived on these charity channels.

On Google, it says that creators get 70% of the money donated by viewers. In my analytics, one person donated £8.99. I received £3.65 of it. 70% would be £6.29 according to my calculations not £3.65. Perhaps it meant that YT get 70% because I clearly don't!!! I am going to tell my donator to not bother as this is ridiculous. How greedy do YT need to be ffs??!

There should be a way to limit Super Thanks donations to $50, which is what you did from July 2022 through September 2022. Instead, in October 2022, you forced all users to accept price points that they might not want: $75, $100, $200, $400 and even $500! I turned off Super Chat when I was first eligible, and now I turned off Super Thanks, because I don't want my audience to feel pressured to spend $75 or more. KZbin, please respect your creators. Allow us to choose the price points we want for Super Chat and Super Thanks.

I frankly don't have a lot of time to create long videos, so the format for someone like me is great, but doesn't count toward total hours. Very nice but why can't Super Thanks be on videos with content ID? I'm a dancer, and my revenue on most dancing videos is 0 because I can't monetize them due to copyrights on music (and if you think that's fair, explain to a dancer how can you dance without music?). Because sharing revenues between creators and copyright holders doesn't seem to be a priority to KZbin, I hoped that my viewers could compensate that with Super Thanks, but even this you won't let happen. Disappointed :(

Have you considered music from other sources that would allow you to have permission to use it? A lot of KZbinrs use music like this (other than the music YT provides in YT Studio). Some of the music is free; other songs you have to pay for. But you can use it in videos without a problem, and you can monetize those videos. For example, Chloe Ting uses music in her workout videos and her videos are monetized. In each video's Description Box, she lists whose music was used and the link to the source where she either purchased it or downloaded it for free. You can go through several of her recent videos to find a musician you like.

Further thoughts on my previous suggestion to have an ad for superthanks on instructional / educational videos - so that they don't become super spammy and run too often, making people zone out, maybe it could be set up so that the algorithm picks up people who use a channel a LOT - like they've used it for 30 hours in a year or whatever, and only show the ad to those people? It could even say "we've noticed you seem to really find this creator helpful - how about saying thanks with superthanks" or something like that. Ha, I really think I'm onto a good idea here 😂

As a Premium subscriber, who has used super chat and stickers, can I suggest making some small Super Thanks credit available? Maybe $1.00 (expiring after 30 days) for all standard accounts that meet some legitimacy threshold (to avoid scammers) and maybe $1.00/mo as a Premium subscription benefit? I really appreciate creators on the platform, and think more people would use features that reward creators if KZbin did more outreach to viewers.
