I am part of several FB groups where content creators discuss the process and the NUMBER ONE reason people get rejected is that they are re-using other people's content, usually shorts, tik tok videos, and Instagram reels. So if you do that, don't be surprised if you get rejected. Or at LEAST be very "transformative" if you do commentary/reaction videos.

Best thing for none US residents is the form to handle an ITIN for not paying American tax on your earnings. I used over a year and multiple tries by mail (IRS have no other way of communicating electronically) and every time it took 5-6 months to get a letter back that something was wrong on the form. The resend my form and a new thing was,wrong. I wanted to hire an accountant to help, but with 1000 subscribers you can’t afford $1000 for that. So I gave up. But suddenly KZbin enabled getting the ITIN online using a form, all digital, and they would handle the rest. So that was awesome. You should make a video and let people know about that.

It is a tax processing number issued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to individuals who are required to have a U.S. taxpayer identification number but who do not have, and are not eligible to obtain, a Social Security number (SSN) from the Social Security Administration (SSA) 1. If you need an ITIN, you can apply for it by filing Form W-7 along with your federal income tax return. You must also include original documentation or certified copies from the issuing agency to prove identity and foreign status 2. Once you have an ITIN, you can use it to file your tax returns and access other IRS services such as Online Account, Get Transcript Online, Online Payment Agreement, Get an Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN), Tax Pro Account, e-Services, and Submit Forms 2848 and 8821 Online 1.

Thank you! Well I have a reaction Channel. I post 3 videos per day and at least 1 short, I like and reply to every comment having individual conversations with each commenter. I try to be positive and respectful in every video. Also I spend a lot of time on the thumbnails because each video has it's own thumbnail photo that I take immediately after recording the video. I feel like consistency is key and don't worry about the ups and downs of the roller coaster, think about it as a business for long term success. @@SR_10

Hello KZbin Creators, I really respect that you guys lowered the requirements to 500 subscribers and 3000 watch hours but i feel like its very hard to accomplish this without including music that hooks viewers in. I think that you guys should allow creators that have copyrighted content to have their channels monetized with the exception of the copyrighted content.

I am not good at it at all.....I just don't know how long I am going to upload to my channel when know one really watches it... It is NOT easy at all to earn money if you deal with socially important to topics or cultural ones. And then if you are spreading art it is not possible to cover even a part of the costs. That's why practically all channels dedicated, as mine, to the art of flamenco, do not maintain active for a long periods...
