Hello. Is this for converting cassettes to audio files? I want to ask you because I bought an ezcap and a logilink and they had problem they made very much noise when I pushed play for first time even there was no cassette inside. And this noise was recorded to audacity. .The good thing is that I returned them back and I took my money back. I have old cassettes original from Greek artists thatnever have been released in compact disc, and they play with very crystal clear sound in an old walkman I own. But I can't connect old walkman with laptop.

About noise try to use battery instead of usb power supply this might help to eliminate noise. But yes there are problems when recording a cassette tapes.
