@@silvermusicbox3476 True and I already made it far into the game. While this port has some great music, it lacks the storytelling and multiple characters the PC Engine version had.

The picture is Yuko against King Rogles in Valis I. But the soundtrack is from Valis IV.

The first stage music, heard here, sets the mood and trend for the rest of the game. Yes it is missing a couple playable characters, and 1 stage, but the SNES version of this game is still a really strong title in the Valis series. I remember renting this game when it was new, actually 1 lifed it on normal, couldn't believe I managed to beat the game so easily. These days I own the SFC version, no different from the US version, but a hell of a lot cheaper than the PCE CD version to buy, though the PCE CD versions still an absolutely awesome game too.
