Always enjoy meeting ppl that are enthusiastic about collecting stamps. It has gone out of favor in the US some time after the early 1980s (sad) and Nassau St in NYC is long gone. My own kids don't care too much about my collection but every once in a while I take it out. There is a joy I still find in looking at them, given this world we live in today.

We live in a digital world now where kids prefer computer games to philately. People send emails rather than write letters so stamps aren't bought like they once were - which is a shame. I'm sure that in time stamps will disappear from use too, but not for a while yet. Until then, let's keep the hobby alive :-)
