SUPER WITCH DRUID after the NERF are INSANE with this TRICK (Clash of Clans)

Whenever I find a decent attack and start enjoying the game again (TH15 was a nightmare), SuperCell decides to nerf my troops. This cycle keeps repeating itself. Step 1. Introduce a new troop or Buff an older Troop. Step 2. Watch the user acceptance blow up. Step 3. Nerf it. Step 4. Nerf it. Step 5 - Step 8. Nerf it to the point of uselessness. Step 9. get ITZU and other creators to tell me "Oh it's not that bad", here's a great new attack that works. Do you understand how much brain power and strategy goes into an ITZU attack? I'm a casual player trying to enjoy the game, but the one's in charge keep trying to shut me out.

@@ruedizzle317 if you want to avoid nerf/buff balance changes, don’t chase the meta? Roots and Druids got nerfed because you could mass drop them anywhere, fumble spells, and still get a 3 star. Does that seem “fair”?

@@n0lnasty I will answer your question with one of my own...Did you enjoy TH 15? 'Cus that's what this type of approach points to... and most would agree, TH15 SUCKED BALLS! I thought the difference in player ability was what brought about Easy/Hard Mode. Keep the nerfs in Hard mode and have pros like yourself search within a pool of other players who seek to play in Hard Mode. Let the rest of us non professionals enjoy the game with our broken armies.

its not the druid nerf that pissed off most people, its the timing of it.... the day cwl starts, with almost no warning..... i know alot of folks that put all there ore into druid/witch or druid titan. its just not a good look on supercell again.

Trust the process my fellow clashers.....I used the same army for 2 days in legends...the army before nerf.....I did 13 triples..one 97% and one 92%. I obviously felt the difference in 'power' of the attack....but talking about the hit rate..I think it is just as it was. I am saying this after 2 legend days and 16 attacks.😙

Drop 2 druids when super witch health drops by 40% because 2 druid have healing efficiency of 100%. If you drop 3 Druids or more, healing efficiency decreased to 96% and below. And use Druids carefully. Don't spam all your druid in one place. Also drop spell in correct position and time. If there's more firepower in core, use 1 overgrowth when your army starts to go in the base. Use king's earthquake boots in core, not in the periphery because it gives better value in core rather than periphery.

I guess the spamming of druid have turned into strategic deployment based on the situation rather spamming. This helps the player to be aware of what is happening on the attack rather than just spamming across. I can see players who are literally just spamming even without funneling now those people will suffer for sure.

I was personally using 4 healers and 4 druids in my army , it really helps to get high value fireball with safe warden walk for like 20 secs .Also you can just send in your 4 druids once your troops reach the core because in the early stages of the atck healers will do what is needed without much supervision . Even though there is frame rate diff between with druid and healers that affect their healing , it is soo negligible cause healers cover for the druids because they heal for all 3mins

Today i attcked a base in cwl that had lots of defances in the core. I used even 5 druids even raged them and my wiches died anyway. This strategy is dead, yes you can 3 star some bases but by percentage i would say 50 attacks from 100 will be 2 stars or even 1.

I hear many "healers are better now", but is the healer Ai just lacking or why are they not able to switch targets like the druid? Once they target the big boys they just get deep fried into the ground

healers are not better. Their splash healing radius versus the Druid healing bounces cause a lot of problems. Healers work… don’t get me wrong. I have been doing SW for two months , finished last season at 5950. I switched to healers yesterday in an effort to stay ahead of the nerf… and they just aren’t nearly as good. They hit every air bomb on the base usually and vanish. Lol I switched back to Druids for my two CWL attacks, and was surprised that Druids are still the way to go! As Itzu says, you just have to be more tactical with your rage spells!

I have seen it. My problem with healers is that if you go against a sweeper the healers get pushed back and stay on my warden a lot of times and dont heal my super witches. For me druids are more consistent. I could maybe see a healer and druid hybrid. I will try that more in the future.

I have been using the same army before and after nerf. Not much difference. The two difference I found is now i can't just spam my rage and it has to be on point. Second, I did not have to use my CC rage spell that often but after the nerf it has become kind of compulsory.

Sup Itzu, I just wanted to bring a strange situation that happened to one of my accounts during CWL. It was “three star” but when I watched the replay, the person who attacked my base only two star it with 58% but the attack still was seen as “three star” on the war tab. This also happened to anyone else? I watched the replay like 3 times and he never three starred me but my base was three star on the war tab. Come see for yourself if you don’t believe me. Must be a glitch but it’s stealing our potential wins from CWL.

Thanks for the tips Itzu. The druid nerf was super necessary, however as you mentioned, the timing is awful. Poor planning and super disrespectful towards the players. I've decided to punish Supercell every time they screw up. Last month they removed the skin, so no gold pass. This month nerf hours before cwl started. No gold pass again. If they don't listen to players and content creators feedback I guess that's what I can do to show that I'm not happy

Both works, I have found more success with the hog and haste vial combination for ground attacks. But tbh if you might have both leveled up give it a try and see what works best for you.

It’s obviously far to soon after the changes for myself to have got enough gameplay in to be absolutely sure what I think. A couple of our clan members have clearly struggled in CWL and my first impression is that the rootriders strategy we use with a small handful if Druids has been hit much harder than the superwitches. My TH15 used the superwitches against a max TH16 (nothing supercharged) and I tripled. My TH16 got a 99% 2 star but I made a couple of errors and was running a level 13 spiky ball. I still think these balance changes are happening with one eye on the next epic equipment release

First of all congratulations for your content, always interesting and very useful, I was thinking about something... what if we used the life gem instead of the rage gem, combined with the fireball? :) I experimented a bit and it seems to work well, also in the alternative without the fireball using the zap instead, you could instead combine the life gem with the rage gem...what do you think? Also I'm trying to use 4 healers and 4 druids, thanks a lot :)

the point you made at the end,about people saying the troop is dead,I honestly think it's just because of how it works in other games. a 50% nerf on BOTH stages of a brawler in BS would make them need a 4 or 5 level advantage to compensate. Both works. Find your prefered style. There is not always the "better" option. I would say some prefer the spikey ball option and some like the more tanky gauntled.

Th 14 lv 2 druids with titans lv 2 is 1 or 2 stars from a smash hit easy 3 star so it again is taking away from lower TH ground attacks. I have reverted back to Hydra as main attack and given up on ground.

Have not tried it much tbh. For my healers always get pushed back from sweepers and are stuck on my warden and are useless. This is why I personally like Druids way more. They work way more consistent for me and they do not need test loons etc.

Healers are good but the problem being they do not transition onto troops as always expected. Maybe stuck on warden or king solo or skeletons. So less healing druid is more viable than healers imo.

What strategies have you tried? It takes some time to get used to a new army to adjust to an army which was changed. The timing sucks with the cwl already ongoing, but you will find a strategy that works for you and is fun. :)

I was using this strategy with healers on my warden and only bringing 3 Druids. While my queen was down I was able to 3 start some maxed bases but I was using Titans not S Witches. Post nerf it hasn’t been quite as strong. As it should be. My queen is down. I’m missing 25% of my max strength at th15 (and basically a th14 army cuz I’m fresh 15)- I shouldn’t be able to 3 star a th16 🤷🏻‍♂️

thanks for the great video iTzu. prior to nerf, this strategy was very forgiving as an average player could make some mistakes here and there yet still be able crush bases. after the nerf, it just became less forgiving which players need to adapt as you said. I personally enjoy this nerf because I didn’t like my bases getting crushed by everyone plus me and my clan didn’t really care about boring perfect-war-streaks where every war ended in a tie.

I've done a ton of testing since yesterday with healers vs druids and found healers better. At least for me who is a non expert. 8 druids is same space as 8 healers and 3 loons and hps is same. I've been using 7 healers and 2 loons with a spare root rider. It is easier for me bc timing is not so critical and healers don't expire. I sprinkle them in similar to druids so they replace ones that die. With with so many it's ok to lose 1 or 2 or 3. Would love to see a video where you try it out.

The mirror is mostly for funneling quickly if you don't have it just make sure your queen sets the funnel immediately you start the warden so your troops path correctly especially the king

I feel like fireball attacks counter already invis tower bases so no need for the giant arrow. I would use the frozen arrow instead, if you do not have the mirror.

Druids were meant to be a "high risk high reward" support troop, that unlike the healers, in addition to ground troops it heals air troops aswell It wasnt balanced on release since there were essentially no risk envolved Its not balanced now since the "high reward" for this short period of time is gone imo

I believe the time reduction and nerfing the bear form was pretty much a fix (why would it have the equivalent hp of ice golem?) The amount of healing was also too much since its the same across the board(for heros) But it now heals almost the same amount as a single healer? I only have the thing working for 25s anyway and its not aoe healing so anything after 4 troop wouldnt recieve any🤷‍♂️ Considering the fact that it was designed with the game plan of deploying the troop in waves, each wave should provide decent value

Its an end game kinda troop which should be a strong one and its not. If the troop was originaly released with its current stats; it wouldve been quite an underwhelming experience! exactly as it is now🙃 The troop was op yes and Im for the nerf but 3 druids dont add up to 2 before nerf druids I think it should provide atleast 90/95 healing at max level (its 80 now and was 140 before nerf)

Can you do one with 5 healers and 3-4 druids . Experiment and let us know. I saw some similar attacks and they yielded a much better result

It’s quite annoying my attack strat was 6 valks apprentice warden 8 root riders and 5 druids with 1 poison 5 overgrowths and hero equipment king rage vile and giant gauntlet, queen magic mirror and invisible, warden life gem and internal tome and royal champion the royal gem and the seeking shield, bit weird but I could 3 star TH16 with it. No joke now after this Druid nerf, it no longer can 3 star TH16s,I cant upgrade the fire ball or earthquake boots because glowy ore is so ridiculously hard to get and all this during CWL is the nail in the coffin, I have no time to learn a new attack strat so I’m having to continue to use this strat that doesn’t work.
