I've decided that the only way I'll buy another figure in this line is if they do a "Trendy" (Trendmasters) Space Godzilla repaint. That seems like something they would do as an exclusive. I also hate that they are locking beam effect heads and other accessories behind timed pre-order windows and now con exclusives. Add to that the fact the tail articulation in particular is so bad is really disappointing. I'm glad I got the Thirsty for Blood version, but I think this line as a whole is not long for this world or our shelves.

I just don't understand this line... I mean they're expensive with poor articulation, sculpt and paint. I only purchased rose biollante because there's no real articulated figure in that form ( it's ok at best). Basically they need to either drastically lower the price, or really up the quality in sculpt and paint because this won't cut it.

A warning for the heat ray NYCC Godzilla. A friend of mine just got his in and the joint on the foot broke because it wouldn't move even after he heated it up careful. Like the joint fused itself

Now to Super7’s credit, this looks better than the Bio’Goji they did. The translucent plastic they used for the dorsal plates looks pretty nice, and the burning patches… well I’ll say that the pattern on them looks cool. The face is a little wonky for me, but when it’s seen at an angle, it’s not too bad. Do I personally believe it’s worth $80+ however? No. The black plastic on the body still has echoes of Bio’Goji and the dorsal plates still look like they went over it with a big smear of acrylic paint. I think I said before Bio’Goji looked like a $50 figure? This one looks like a $60 or $70. Not much different from the actual price tag I know, but unless it’s at those prices, I’m skipping this.

The burning parts on the body sans the dorsal spines not being translucent is probably the only thing about this figure I don’t like, kinda wish they did make those areas translucent. Like, the orange paint isn’t bad per say but it would’ve looked better if they made it translucent like the 1200 Celsius one.

I just got in my mecha G from super7 and man i am loving it. Very simple and yet for a collector hits a well blend between callback to retro trendmasters and new age collector's requirements for better product. Got my NYCC heat ray too from super7. I have to say not as glossy as seen from thr biollante original release

I like the ultimate Godzilla line from super 7 but the balls they have to not include a hinge join on the jaw is baffling especially for the price, and why did they make a 1200 Degrees Celsius Godzilla? Like you cant really use it for anything over then static display

Its kinda odd, they put the effort on the head paint, the dorsal plates, they even give smoke effects, but they didn't add yellows to the chest patches.... Its odd because they clearly don't want it to be an oversized bandai, they are obviously adding materials, accessories that look good, but then the patches, the most important part of a burning godzilla literally looks like its the chest of a bandai figure, and a bad one. It was just a little yellow super7, I don't want them to make it look realistic, its not the point of the figure, but still, you can keep toy aesthetics and add a bit more colors

What happened to the smoke fx? I get things change from announcement to package in hand. But that's just white plastic. Had a clear/grey/ steamy thing going. That looks like a hot glue gun gone wild.

The eyes not being centred is fine for this release, after recently watching the movie, Godzilla is wall eyed for most of the film

Damn! I already preordered the Spacegodzilla and Moguera with beam affects and the Meltdown Godzilla and Destroyah. Also FYI a few collectors I know just got the Hiya updated GVK Godzilla and there’s no difference between him and the KOTM version except for the paint.

I know they made a hinged jaw alternate head with the 12000 Celsius burning goji figure but WHY CANT JUST KEEP THR HINGED JAW THEY ARE ACTING LIKE THIS IS NECA’S RODAN BUT THESE FIGURES ARE TALLER THEN HIYA FIGURED AND HIYA FIGURES WITH SMALLER HEADS HAVE A HINGE, look it took them multiple figures JUST for a hinge joint

This whole thing feels like a major improvement from BioGoji. Is it still worth $85?? Eeeehhhhhh I’m not personally sold on it. The burning effect on it looks really bad imho (at least for $85). If this figure was $40 or $55 (like other ultimates) I could forgive but we’re reaching SH Monsterarts prices and at that point…I don’t see any reason to get this personally.

I think this figure is alright. I actually really like the face and the dorsal plates. Not big on how the burning patches look but the smoke effects are nice. If this figure was $10 - $20 cheaper I'd be more willing to get it. I just dont think these are worth their price tag. I'm interested to see how their Destoroyah turns out though

I pre-order the meltdown version, but other than that, I'll stick with their ReAction godzilla figures. They are close to finishing up on showa era and might go on to the 1990s godzilla.

I'd say the eyes are passable. They're not looking dead on, and, yes, they could be better, but I've definitely seen worse, especially in the SHMA line. I think I'll actually pick this guy up despite not being perfect since I missed the other offerings for Burning Goji so far

No, it's burning. That's the official name. It's on all licensed products, it's used on bonus features on home media. Thermonuclear is a fan term.

I want to like Super 7's Goji Figures but they are terribly made. Godzilla himself is so wrong sculpt wise and articulation wise. Super 7 u have the damn Godzilla License and he deserves so much better then this too. And for godsakes fix your paint apps and articulation along with giving him a poseable mouth. Monsterarts Hiya and Neca can do it so why cant you guys?

I really miss the Neca line and wish they got into other monsters or Mecha. Quality for $25-30 and available at target or Walmart. Hopefully they see the license again sooner rather than later.
