I don’t think it SHOULD die but I think it will. If the promo pics looked more like the actual product, maybe they would have slightly less sales then what they have so far but a lot less outrage as well and we might not be having this discussion. But I agree since we have other, better quality AND value options out there, this line has little hope. Especially since super 7 has always been this way in the designs they go for so we realistically won’t be getting different in the future

Honestly the only things I've seen super7 put out that I like are thier ReAction line. The smaller 4 inch line works great for thier lack of detail. But the supers look horrific.

tbh, most of the figures that they announced should be in the 7 inch scale i.e. Space Godzilla, MOGUERA, Heisei MechaGodzilla, and Destoroyah. All should scale nice with everything else.

"Reminds me of a Trendmaster" isn't great for $85. If you're gonna go "stylized" (actually stylized and not just an excuse for cheapening out on paint and sculpting) go full articulated marmit or trendmasters. I'd love some ultimates trendmasters figures like they did ultimates playmates turtles

In terms of Kaiju characters, I would rather see Super7 develop more Shogun Warrior monsters. Their Shogun Warrior styled MechaGodzilla is AMAZING, and has been a long-time dream come true for me. It would be great to see a Shogun Warrior styled Gigan with an actual rotating chest blade. I've wanted that toy since 1986! However, if they do continue with the Toho licence, they'll probably do a Jet Jaguar Shogun Warrior next. That would make the most sense.

I actually never new about NECAs line, until the very end. So maybe it was just advertising. I stumbled across the cool box, opened up and BAM there was a Godzilla in it.

Rumor is they're doing a 92 godzilla and maybe mothra if the line continues,I'm not going all in on this line but I'm watching it I'd like to see Rodan, Ghidorah and Mecha Ghidorah appear in this line if they do the core wave of trendmasters godzilla figures I'll pick them up;I'm sure we'll see trendmasters color variants at some point as exclusives hell they could've done that at comicon;but there was a lot of potential gir this line i would have loved to have had a modern articulated 8"trendmasters style biollante but im sure because of license and whatever legal reasons they can't do trendmasters accurate figures who knows.

I'm hoping the Mogera & MechaG are solid since they're metal and not as detail heavy as like Godzilla. But the re-release of SHMA MechaG might hurt Super7. And Super7's promo images compared to the actual figures aren't even close which certainly soured people. Not even considering the HIGH price point in an era of better options in both cheaper and more expensive. I would LOVE if they went more in the unique Trendmasters direction like the green godzilla. Imagine a big SpaceG- I'd be sold.

Only one I have on pre order is Mecha Godzilla but yeah it seems like this is a pick and choose kind of line.

Maybe it's because I wasn't there for that time period but I just do not at all see the retro/trendmasters comparison. I look at trendmasters figures, I look at sofubis, marmits, and then I look at this. And then I look at a NECA. And if you asked me to tell you which this looked similar to, I'd tell you the NECA. And these just ain't worth that 85 dollar price. And from what I remember from a year ago, the conversation and talk about these wasn't a retro styled thing like the reaction figures, it was "cheaper alternative to SHMA". (and cheaper is debatable because there are SHMAs around that pricepoint) I don't want the line to die, but they really need to improve fast if they want to keep going. Having these things announced over a year ago, and in that time Hiya showed up, dropped 5 figures, all of which were cheaper and had more articulation, really made this line look a little worse in comparison.

I feel like the super seven Godzilla figs can be good. I know a lot of people like the thirsty for blood version of the Godzilla and what probably could help people maybe want to buy some of these figures more is give the ones who don't have a lot of accessories maybe a little more? Destoroyah from the looks of it doesn't come with any beam effects, and to give a benefit of the doubt they sh didn't either form what I remember. The mogera could definitely use a lot more maybe a rocket attachments like the super seven dragon zord and instead of having to buy the figure through super 7 to get the bonus of extra head with the beam effect. If they do continue I kind of hope they at least add more to the Kaiju who we know they need some and who knows maybe they'll make some figures that sh MonsterArts hasn't even got to or won't do.

I wanna see them compared to the shma bio. I find it kinda strange in pixeldans interview with super7 they said they didnt want to price these godzilla figures over dramatically like japan godzilla figures get priced yet they have these $80+ figures that are cheap looking and dont have enough accessories And look nothing like their movie counter parts... They're literally pricing them like this for the fact that they're 8in tall. Also the boxes appear to be mostly air so they take up alotta space and the new space godzilla with mogeura set dont come with beams unless you buy both figures just to get 2 heads that have the beams attached..seems ridiculous like were forced to buy them otherwise having 2 figures without affect parts is boring. It is cool to see another space G come with crystals but theyre single crystals.. Ive had the melt down G and destoroyah preordered since they went up and i really hope they arent a let down.. Also same for the pricing on their Re-Action Godzillas, theyre $20+ each yet they are small and compared to other re-actions they are the most expensive....

Beyond the fact that I still feel ripped off for paying $170 for figures that should have been $100-110, I just don't think it's healthy to have 4 super articulated kaiju lines going at the same time. Bandai needs competition because their prices and QC are out of control, but I just don't see Super7 as offering that. I canceled all of my other pre-orders aside from meltdown Godzilla. If you guys say that Destroyah and Space Godzilla are good I''ll probably buy them, but I won't be pre-ordering any other figures from this line.

I am certainly not going to support Super 7 in anything they make. From Thundercats to TMNT, Power Rangers and now even Godzilla their products are over priced and don't match with how promo pics look.

I'm so disappointed in this line not to mention they're extremely overpriced for what they are. The only ones I'm going to have in the end will be the ART ADAMS version because he's a great artist... And it isn't a bad figure... And the 1200 degree Godzilla... Only because it's so unique but beyond that... I think the rest are kind of cruddy... And way overpriced.

I bought the Super 7 Thirsty for Blood version, because of the paint job and details. I pre-ordered the Super 7 Burning Godzilla, and the Mecha Godzilla, but am waiting to see the production pieces to see how those look in hand or in reviews. Your reviews on the Super 7 Godzilla line turns me off so far. Otherwise, SMH, NECA, and Hiya for the win on Godzilla. So sad, not worth the $85 asking price on the Super 7 line.
