The Classified Zartan is, to me, among the top 5 Classified figures released so far; that being said, this figure is pretty good. As the reviewer well pointed out, a shame it didn't include at least one accessory alluding to Zartan being a master of disguise (especially so given what these sell up for).

I've definitely seen episodes where the piece on his head is blowing and you can see strands

Apparently it was a hood in earlier seasons and then there was Season 3 where it looked to be hair, there's a couple of times Zartan is getting knocked around by the Joes and you can see his hair moving

Hey spot, I noticed that you mentioned about Golopaluss giving Zartan, the red ruby and that he says a Ruby that size answers all my questions it was actually Pythona from the G.I. Joe, the movie, just to let you know.

Yeah you know you're right, after I said that I thought no wait it was Pythona because Zartan makes a comment about why they should stick their necks out for them, and she holds up the jewel and says does this answer your question...argh I might need to turn in my GIJOE fan card for making such a rookie move like that lol

it was a hood in some of the seasons of the cartoon and most of the time the comics and the toys depicted him wearing a hood but watching the original series I always saw it as Hair

Ha! Spot getting in contact with media. I did it 4 times. One time was to a magazine that I sent anonymous and my mother happend to discover it was me. Mind you, the magazine was sold in all Puerto Rico. A second time was to a radio host that ended calling me at my house. A third time was at ign and I was answered. And a fourth time was at Nintendo of America and they did call me to Puerto Rico. PS Spot, so much for asking Mattel to continue the JLU figures and you ended up selling them. :( PS1 I don´t think black lights would damage the figure when McFarlane sells figures with that feature.

I like the sculpt a lot, but damn that paint job is lame, no paint apps, no shading, dammit. it makes it look so lackluster

I think the sculpt is slightly off from the Cartoon but its pretty close. I agree with you though the paint has been letting down these figures lately. Have you been collecting any of the Super7 Ultimates?

Yeah, I have the first and second wave, paid full price and decided that they weren't good enough for the price. i collect neca ninja turtles, and they far outdo, quality, and paint for a similar to lower price. Some of the ultimates figures crumbled in my hands, just crazy stuff. regardless, I want them, I would like to eventually repaint them myself, but I won't pay full price for something i plan to repaint, so I'll have to wait or miss out, good review review though, i saw your reviews for the previous, so i was aware, but it was still different to appreciate the flaws in person. Its sad cause they could be amazing. @@TheReviewSpot

These are not worth 55 dollars. That is why Super7 is not doing well-their prices and their service sucks.

Should be 35 max. If fourhorsemen mythic legions can be priced at 35-36 usd ... no reason for Super7 Should be more. But it will always be 55 because most ppl are willing to pay for it. Stat strong.

@@TheReviewSpot Yes I got them all. I am waiting for wave 4. Zartan is my favorite character but seeing pics online of him from people who already got him from entertainment earth, he looked unpainted like Flint and Lady Jaye. I was worried. It looks like they put some translucent paint (for color changing) on the unpainted body. Looks ok but not like the proto, who was painted. Anyway, he still looks good enough.
