I’m with you! When the promo photos came out all they were emphasizing was the light up eyes, but my eyes went straight to the new sculpt. I’d love for them to eventually tweak the whole line to look closer to the show like this.

I repainted Jaga's hand and gave it to Lion-O, it's the one you see in the video. The renders show that the arms swivel at the bicep AND the elbow, so I think a two-handed sword aloft pose will be possible

Great analysis! I was in love with the Lion-o prototype so many years ago and then we got to production version. Then my first childhood crush - the Cheetara prototype. So lovely, until the alteration to the production version! And they still advertise her with her original body and stance!. So yes, lets wait and see. Those massive biceps and tiny chest are not looking so hot. The new head/hair and legs are first rate.

I have those 7" bandai versions. They're great! Really imposing. Not too expensive at the time. Sad it cancelled.

They should have done the way they had done cause they had to start from somewhere. It was easy to restart with moldes that they already had and figures that they had already launched to get people who missed it. And make sense after years they starting to change and make their own moldes and ideas . This line is just getting better and better.

You missed the 7” line from Bandai that was also short lived. From the classic and remake. People relate the franchises because they were created and animated by the same exact people. thunder Cats, He-Man, Silver Hawks and Brave Starr supported to be coexisting within the same universe.

2:25 Definitely when you use that reference pic, it makes Jackleman's figure look huge; but there's plenty of times on the show where they're accurate to the Mattel mold. Certainly not sayin' I wouldn't buy a new slimmer Jackalman...'cause I'm all for revised versions of these older figures. Besides Panthro being the last one on that list, we desperately need a new Tygra too.

@@androidweasel6931 I did, but put it back in the package for now. Originally I had two, inspected both, and they both had floppy legs. Too bulky, the wrong torso anatomy, no elbow pad, silly gritting teeth head, sloppy/uncured/cracked paint....just the biggest let down in the line.

@@Chalor. An updated Pantro has been in the cards for a long time but according to Brian flynn he didn't turn out right so it has been delayed! But will be coming in the future. I think he will be a translucent greenish color?

@@androidweasel6931 Just saw it wasn't an exclusive, BUT both heads are light up, meaning that if you're not using the feature, which will be 99.99% of the time, Lion-O's eyes look like a two pieces of translucent plastic, which ruins the overall look of the figure. I'm amazed at the ways they find to sabotage a cartoon accurate Lion-O figure...

@@airic21man the figure looks bad doesn't it? I mean it tracks given Super7's history but I was still hopeful. Main issues I see are the paint (and lack thereof) on the face (fixable) and tiny chest section (not fixable)

And that’s the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard of. What’s next? Are they gonna complain that he man and the thundercats don’t go with the transformers either?

I don't know why every one gushes at the renders when they're announced, they look like shit when released, just cheap plastic cast in skin to e looks abysmal. And basically another cash grab. I'm tapping out, got too old in the near decade waiting to collect these. And others are too, i was blown away in the price drop in masters of the universe classics, which was the last great line, details and paint was outstanding. Na easy pass s7
