To confuse one genre from another is a good thing. It simply means that the artform is evolving and improving. For a DJ or anyone playing music professionally, it does help a lot to classify songs more specifically (e.g. complextro, future garage, moombathon etc.) because they're usually of the same structure, key, power and tempo. Otherwise, it wouldn't hurt at all to just classify them generically as Progressive House, Trance, Dutch House, etc.

Dice Radiø They still got it bro. Just look at Rubicon. They took sound to the NEXT level with that track. And Im talking about the main melody at the second part of the drop. Not the first part which sucks. Otherwise, def think Super8 & tab has been dropping in quality though :/. I wish they would stop using the disgusting Armada-like huge super-saw waves that have saturated the market. From a producers/sound designers perspective they did this with their 3 cousin tracks: Your Secrets Safe, No Frontiers and Patience. They need to stop this!

What are you talking about? You obviously didn't listen to the whole 4 mins. 'Farty' bass at the start perhaps but it opens with some beautiful synth and vocal hooks and some cracking euphoric pads before dropping into a stunningly produced open forum of warmth and power. If you heard this live on a decent system, you'd fart your way home with a big fucking smile on your face. THIS is real trance mate, make no mistake.

"Real Trancers"? Been listening to trance for 11 years (probably longer than you have) and I absolutely love this. It's powerful, emotional and gives me a natural high. Exactly what I was getting out of the Trance I got into 11 years ago. Maybe you don't listen to it as often as me, but after listening to 138-140bpm trance nearly everyday for 8 years, it's refreshing to hear a change of bpm and new sound styles. For them to completely reformat a genre and still give me the same feelings is great

All those you mentioned are trance to me eswell. Todays trance. Some Djs still Play the old trance. There are definetly Djs now days that play "trance" which i really do not consider trance. e.g. W&W. but thats not to say i dont like it. I just prefer not to listen to them or call them trance DJs. At the end of the day you can call what ever song what ever genre you like but music is about sound and not labels. So just enjoy it without worry about the techincality of it.
