I’m obsessed with Pat thinking things through logically then completely disregarding it and doing the most unhinged thing possible

The story behind the book being written in a night came from the fact it originally was like a 6 page short story. A friend of the Author read it, loved it and paid him to flesh it out and make a book out of it and something about a deadline for submitting potential publications was the next day so he stayed up all night writing as to turn it in the next day

Came back to this since the podcast mentioned it, and apparently the LP is super popular right now.

weirdly the one of the most comforting LP’s for me i watched most of it in one night when i was super uncomfortably warm and couldnt sleep, but i didnt have the energy to stay up and do things, so i just watched this LP and it was so cool and interesting as a story that i kept watching it to distract myself and eventually got tired enough to sleep. such a cool game and good LP

Thats not weird, I feel the same way about the Retsupurae playthrough of the same game.

An angstrom is used in interatomic measurements one hundred-millionth of a centimeter (10^-10 meter), and the prefix nano is one billionth (10^-9). A nanoangstrom would be 10^-19 of a meter. To give an idea of just how small that would be, the diameter of an atom is 2-3 angstroms.

One of the most fascinating LP they've done, because Pat gets to put his degree to good use and figure a lot of stuff out

Probably the most professional use of his degree he's gotten in his entire life

@@Personified134 I mean if him using it to self diagnose and horribly deal with his mental problems isn't considered "professional" it's still the biggest pro gamer move ever xD

@Andrew Robinson fr though, damn near every psychology major has self diagnosed themselves

@@F_lippy How can they not? It seems like a thing every psychologist would do, odd that it's a taboo.
@flux_casey11 ай бұрын
@@Lux_Ferox It's a taboo because there's a good chance you do it wrong. Same reason medical doctors are encouraged to trust the doctor treating them and it's still a bad idea for lawyers to represent themselves in court. The detachment of an outside perspective is important to get an unbiased view of what's going on, and to avoid rash judgements induced by emotion getting in the way of rational analysis.

You can call Pat a lot of things - a coward, unhinged, the physical manifestation of a mind goblin - but the fact that his first instinct when he walked into the operating chamber in Nimdok's chapter was to STRAIGHT UP MURDER a nazi scientist is at least a nice reassurance that Pat has his priorities and morals straight

Implied violent rape with subsequent eternal PTSD is dark as all hell. Just because we are desensitized to nonsense doesn't mean it isn't dark.
