Superbike Race RED FLAG Restarts @ Road America | Irnieracing 2018

Marcel Irnie's first visit to Road America, WI for the ASRA National & CCS race events. To learn the track at race pace, Marcel enters the GTO 25 minute Saturday morning race, which was restarted and shortened twice due to two Red Flags/ Crashes.
Irnie starts from 18th grid position on row 5 with no Qualifying. June 30, 2018.
Irnie is running a used 82 Lap front SC1 and well worn 18 Lap SC0 Rear for the Restart.

The guy in front just let off way earlier than expected, being so close there is hardly any time. Wouldn't call it rider fixation. Marcel got close to him as well before the restart.

yeah buddy parked it in the corner. After he said he didn't trust his brakes after having braking issues in morning warm-up. He braked so early the ZX10R nearly hit him, causing zx to crash, and I got closer then expected too!

we have brake markers developed from practice/qualifying, and buddy on the purple gixxer braked well before the typical brake zone, throwing everyone behind for a loop. I was 10 bikes distance back, and I still had to take evasive maneuver to avoid rear-ending purple.
