Im in the car business but also love motorcycles but one thing, i definitely know is to stay far away from BMWs i bought a tried and true 23 Kawasaki ZX10 for racing and track days its smooth as glass.

Get yourself a soldering iron and a 3D printer pen. You use the iron to warm up the plastic and the pen to slowly build up the tabs to rebuild your air intake tabs. you can also use metal plate to reinforce the plastic pen material. I have been repairing plastic for years this way. you can use the iron to smooth out your pen marks.

@@irnieracing Yup, you can get some body working tools that work well with a torch or heat gun to heat up sheets of plastic to adhere to the item you want to repair. Or to squeeze the repair flat. You can also get fine steal mesh as a skeletal frame to help reinforce plastic under tension so it lasts forever. As long as you keep it out of the sun. I have repairs that are still working 12 years later.

Hey Mate. Is there a reason you've stuck out with the Gen 3 instead of upgrading to 4/5? Do you find you have to now push harder against the newer bikes to stay competitive (like V4R and the new CBR-1000R-RRR-RRRRRR...R?)

I was forced into superbike racing retirement when bullshit-19 attack was unleashed. Over the 5 years of not riding, I lost my interest, or dedication to the sport. Now I tested with a major comeback effort to see what I wanna do. Yes my old BMW is not competitive to the new CBR1000RR, ZX10RR, K67 S1000RR which my competition rides. I have such trouble to steer the ol' bmw, and always battle with having less power then everyone else. The 2015 S1000RR also has a hard time exiting corners compared to the newer bikes. The old RCK3 traction control system from 2015 is so old, and worthless. This is 9 year old computer program tech. I'm considering purchasing a new bike for 2025, but also have reserve about how much to put into this sport going forward.

I already did a FOIA "Freedom Of Information Act" request last month, and I was denied "The requested records are being withheld in accordance with section 15(1)(a) of the Act as release would be harmful to an ongoing law enforcement investigation (RCMP File No. 2024-50404). Now I am going to: "Under Section 52 of the FOI, you may ask the Information and Privacy Commissioner to review any matter concerning the City of Kelowna's response." But I don't have much faith in the system to hand it over.

I was talking about you today, and it wasn't just the fact that you blew the records to smithereens : It was in every way - The whole manner in which you did it The dedication of camping out here The tight budget, with very few sets of tires The fact that you went for slides and went right back in And the fact that you spent like two days studying each corner, it's a figure out how to shave .21 of a second somewhere. It was awesome just to witness - And really something to be proud of - We had very fast guys on very well suited bikes, and nobody goes faster than fifty four . So in case your ears were burning, that's why :) Hope all is well buddy

I did notice that the right battery after taking the negative off and putting it back on has no spark you know when you always take a battery terminal off and put it back on it will be some kind of spark and static noise. I don’t have none of that and is starter fluid OK to try to get it cranked?

So I’ve got a 2000 gmc c3500hd dump truck that has been sitting for a while and the dash lost power somehow but will come on every once in a while so it will turn over but won’t crank and I thought it was my glow plug relay so I did a troubleshoot and touched the negative and positive with wrench to try to heat up the glow plugs, but it still won’t crank. Can someone please help me please what they issue could be?
