I don't think you waffle too much it shows your thought process and how you approach these things. And from my years in the power industry just because you have explained something it does'nt mean someone else has understood it, but you make sure your viewers do. Also a big up for admiting your mistake insead of editing out. And as you say that is how easy it is to led astray fault finding. Keep up the good work love your content.

Excellend video Jim, these uploads are turning into the highlight of my Fridays! To give credit to yourself, with where you started you were on the right train of thought. Props for highlighting your errors. It's easy to let pride get in the way and not admit to it. I believe that anyone who is willing to admit an error and learn from it are the best in their respective field.

😅I thought the same initially with the pressure. I worked on these bikes when they first came out but never had any problems, however, I also worked in Ducati's up to 2016 and some have very similar set up. Had the same sort of problem which turned out to be engine temp sensor. Some Dukes had 2 sensors. One to feed the ECU, one to feed the temp. gauge. If the ECU sensor was reading incorrectly then the ECU thought the engine was hot, so wouldn't richen the mixture on cold starting.

FAIL? = First attempt in learning . As said we all make mistakes . It's how you learn from them that matters. Stumbled across this channel a short while ago and have learnt a lot especially the scope use(pico). My background isn't bikes but cars and vans and there's a lot that crosses over into those - i do have an interest in bikes including owning a Vespa LX125. The thought processes you use are also very insightful Jim and well thought out even though you might think it's waffle

What a POS! It was once a great bike for it’s time.. and could still be a great machine IF it was kept up to date with maintenance etc. It’s probably been in storage for years and has a clogged fuel system with blocked injectors and blocked fuel filter. Good luck Jim, and that wasted time on chasing fuel pressure gremlins, don’t worry mate, even the best mechanics fall into traps like that 😂
