“Better not break the speed limit”. Immediately does 84mph
@3067jonКүн бұрын
Definitely needs to get the overlay GPS calibrated - that looked no faster than 54 to me :)
@alanfrazer3291Күн бұрын
Must be an error in the readout overlay as it stated mph but is actually kph
@williamlorimer060867Күн бұрын
Even the overlay is bullshiting that’s not 84mph 😂

Well done on your channel. You will likely never know how much pain you save people with your knowledge and exploration of issues, which can be used across all vehicles. And of course there’s the entertainment value. Top drawer!! 👍🤘✌️

Some cars have a "reset adaptions" option which needs to be done after changing map/airflow sensors. The adaptions are always running in the back ground to maintain a smooth idle and running as the engine wears or different fuel quality is used etc. If it is not done the engine management system will slowly adjust to the new part but can take a while. It maybe if you left the cheap replacements in after running for a while it may have improved

Fair play, not often you see someone riding Knockhill Circuit "the wrong way"!

You should try it Frightening going wrong way You get to light speed going down the straight rather than up

Problem is, manufacturers often decide your car/bikes obsolete at 15 years old. So you end up going down part number wormholes to get what you need.

Good find,persistence is key,you know you have the skills & equipment. I always find genuine parts for any engine management issues works best,handy to check results like you did though & to only be a slightly out is crazy

Watching you work on modern bikes has taught me two things. One, you´re a bit of a genius. Two, modern bikes are rubbish. I will take a bike up to the early 2000´s with carbs all day long. These are just motorcycles for crying out loud. That level of complexity is absurd. Just saying. Thanks again for the brilliant content.

Look forward to your videos lol Nice end to the week. I had an Xdiavel s V Twin 1256cc and can agree with the F Bombs when riding. The Torque on them is just instant. I have a ZH2 now and although Supercharged just doesn't have that instant bite which makes you laugh, although is frighteningly fast. Happy New yr fella.

Nice to close this case study Jim. It's not until you're working with these systems / autoelectrics, you appreciate the sensitivity and consequences of values out of plausible range.

Really interesting little project this, and seems to highlight sticking to original factory spares (despite cost) Great bikes, I’ve just bought an XDiavel S, and I adore it… bonkers power/torque, but beautifully comfortable.

Does anyone know if there is a cheaper version of the Exhaust gas (air fuel ratio) analyser available. Thats an amazing tool and take the guess work out of a real pain of the job. Not so bad on a Ducati or Guzzi but its mare on the IL4. Also when there are other issues it pins things down.

Was wondering how a 5 volt signal can damage anything .! But then I assume these things are just pressure sensitive rheostats with some kind of wiper that wares out with use , hence both going at the same time.!?…. Electronics.!!😱….. great vid as usual…💪🏻
