Hey Everyone,
In today's video, we're excited to give you guys a first look at the all-new Vorsteiner VPX 101 Forged Monoblock wheels in Liquid Smoke for the G80 M3 and G82 M4! Once the wheels are produced, they will be available in a 19, 20 and these MASSIVE 21 inch size, which look incredible on the car and give it that supercar look!
Additionally, we have a few quick things to note. The set that we are running is a preproduction set. With the size tire that we are running, we did rub a little on the driver's side spring perch, however, by adding our spacer, it gives us the clearance that we needed. It is possible that running a smaller size tire could prevent this issue, however, we didn't want to go to anything lower profile than what we selected. Additionally, as many of you know, when upgrading your G80 and G82 to larger wheels OR by adding spacers (any wheels, not just aftermarket), you will rub against the front of the wheel liner, especially in full lock situations as you reverse. Fender liner modifications will be required to prevent this. As this is a pre-production set, we didn't want to include this in the video, as oftentimes pre-production units may be slightly different specs than actual production units. Additionally, the tires used in this video are for rear wheel drive applications only.

A word of advice for you. Since you have an xDrive M3, you should reconsider your tire choice. Your tires will shredd your transfer box in a matter of weeks. Rear tire must not be smaller in diameter than front tire, also you must be withing 1% of tire circumfence front to rear, or the transfer box will wear very quickly. The correct rear tire size for your front 275/30 21 would be 325/25 21. So your current tire is way too small. I'd suggest you go for 285/25 21 front and 295/25 21 rear, this way you will be a happy xdrive driver for a long time.

Honestly, I usually hate the look as wheels get larger. But the combination of the car and wheel finishes really work well together. This is one of the few large wheel setups that I have liked. I am curious what the stock wheel size and weight were and what the size and weight of the new wheels are? Same with the stock and new tires? I don’t expect them necessarily to be less because going that much larger does mean increasing weight. But forged wheels have to be less than other wheels in the same size. They look great!

IMO, 21s are too big for me, but also the G80 is a big car. 18s on it is not gonna cut it!! But also, the wheels look amazing. Their color combo with the CF accents on the car make them look perfect. Now, the Vorsteiner CF grilles are a must, with a bigger trunk lip!!
