BMW Flying Glass Yacht!

We got to drive BMW and TYDE's brand-new futuristic flying yacht 'The Icon'! It's one of the most futuristic boats ever made with an interior that's taken straight from a VIP lounge.
Best of all, it can literally fly above the water when it reaches 18 knots! It even features sound design from legendary composer Hans Zimmer, to go with the extremely smooth ride as you fly across the sea.
It's the definition of a luxury watercraft and we had a lot of fun taking it for a spin!

I actually think this is a great concept. Good for someone who maybe doesn't want a full on yacht with cabins and staterooms but wants something they can spend a day on the water in. It desperately needs a small bathroom and a minimal kitchenette though.

I remember as a kid my grandmother paying for her three grandchildren to visit her in Belgium for the Holidays; St Katherine's Dock Pier return to Zeebrugge by a Boeing Jetfoil, back in '77-78. Travelling down the Thames, picking up speed once in the estuary and across the Channel. Fantastic experience. Jetfoil, Hydrofoil and now E-Foil - Looking forward to this technology becoming more widely available. It really is an exhilarating way to travel.

That craft is a nautical, architectural & technological work of fine art. It's utterly gorgeous! Seeing as how this craft is an EV, I wonder if wrap manufacturing companies have figured out how to make entire wraps that are actually solar panels? This way, the entire surface area of the craft itself would be the recharging system, which could provide for an amazing daytime operation capability. Great video, about an amazing machine!

BMW finally bought a tech from a Indian bases US company 👏👏👏 It was featured two years ago by a Indian founder and CEO "Sampriti Bhattacharyya". She founded the company called 'Navier'. Navier's electric hydrofoil boat, the Navier 30, is America's first electric hydrofoil boat. The boat can rise off the surface at about 17 miles per hour and stands on three struts.

The idea is great. It will need a little bit of tweaking. Automatic rails for protection or just normal rails will do for the back. Miles increment can come later but the idea is luxurious. Luxury for people who can afford it!!
