@@KutWrite Hydrogen hasn't taken off in the us but has in many other countries. The best car maker aka Toyota is still betting on it . They made the Mirai which cost about the same as a normal car but with 76mpge. Both electric and hydrogen have their issues but it will ultimately depend on what people adapt to.

So I don’t think this is anyones idea of a practical car for ordinary people, and the fact that they didn’t talk about autonomous driving cars puts them outside of the main stream of the thinking of people who are designing cars as well as smart grid highway systems that in the future no human will be allowed to drive a passenger car as we understand it today, and I don’t think manually driven cars, Petro fuel-cars, are going away anytime soon, and electric cars are defining the future of passenger car transportation, as we’ve been driving trains and buses using electricity for quite a while, and so the only thing left is to be able to reduce emissions that are produced by Petro fuel airplanes, as they have quite a large carbon footprint, and so hydrogen fuel aircraft could help to reduce that carbon footprint, but I don’t see it as a practical way to power passenger cars or light trucks, as the infrastructure simply does not exist to support that, and there’s little investment in producing the availability of hydrogen as an alternative fuel which is an added expense that few are willing to bare with all the other headwinds we’re facing today!

@@theodorehaskins3756 1: Nobody literally nobody thinks any super car is either practical or for everyday people. 2: Most car companies have no self driving option since level 5 driving is not legal yet. 3:battery power cars are worse on the environment because of the battery manufacturing , charging and disposal . 4:The only reason electric cars have the very basic charging infrastructure they have now is government funding . 5: None of these technologies really help the environment they just shift the pollution from the tail pipe to somewhere else. Our government is behind it to reduce dependance on foreign oil sources not to save the planet. Right now where i am gas is almost $5 per gallon because to the restrictions on Russians oil imports due to the war. 20 to 25% of the use oil used in the usa comes from Russia.

Greetings from Scotland! It wasn't until you mentioned that Matador manufactured tyres that I recognised where I had heard of them before! I'm a real big fan of the hydrogen fuel cell technology and believe this is the way forward IF they can get the production costs down for producing hydrogen. I have no doubts that they will do it eventually and we'll see long distance trucks powered this way and eventually all road vehicles! I absolutely love the vehicle; where I am from we tend to change a window almost every year from rocks spread on the road from snow control or big trucks kicking stones up into the air. I would hate to get the bill for acquiring that window. My guess would be that cost alone may negate the savings from the alternative fuel source.

It powers electric motors, or, can be hydrogen HHO gas mixed with air & ignited, giving pure, water droplets, any contaminants are rejected in the reaction, so the water is pure. Its a cycle can be started anywhere in the cycle, you could generate HHO, ignite it in a turbine, so as gas turbine engine, to, drive a motor as a generator, or to be driven by the motor, so you do not, require much gas, that takes water in tanks, bubbler for the gas. HHO is very unstable to transport, that's why it should be made & consumed immediately. The cycle is water, electricity, Gas, or as in this, case Gas, electricity, water. In this case the gas is combined with the air, this generates electricty.

Love the design. Back in the early 2000s Mclaren held a design competition, the criteria was it should be a concept for the McLaren's of the future (at the time). This looks like the concept design that won.

In the Coachella valley we have several hydrogen powered buses. They cost seven million dollars. It is a program funded by the government and leased to the Palm Springs area. People know Palm Springs. But they don't know the correct name of the area is Coachella valley. At least not till the big music festival. It's a wonderful place in the winter and Spring. But the snow birds run away by April. The air is so clean but once the 110°F plus temperature hits it is unliveable.

The hydrogen is stored at 150 PSI or 10 Bars of pressure. High pressure fittings don't last very long because of the pressure they're under and you have no idea when they will begin to leak. If you're lucky you will just loose all your fuel or something worse could happen. Shelf the electric cars until they have a capacitor that can power one and until then stick with gas and diesel

It's a concept car for now, but... 1. Not only that long windshield is super heavy (can't be road-legal in most countries if it's made of polycarbonate), it also gets immediately damaged upon hitting an obstacle at a very slow speed; 2. No windscreen wiper means it's not road-legal; 3. No proper rubber sealing on the door window; 4. Those "wings" above the tail lights increase the drag and lift forces at the rear; 5. Rear tyres will throw tiny rocks and dirt towards the cars behind; 6. A-pillars can't be strong enough at this particular thickness; 7. It's a generally bad idea to combine a very inclined windshield with a light colour for the dashboard, because that means driver distraction and decreased safety in sunny days; 8. Can't be roar-legal with that kind of a short ground clearance and long but low front skirt (poor angle of approach). The common height of sleeping policemen is 75 mm.

Great car. Perhaps the company wants to keep secret the actual engine? Hydrogen fuel cell and hydrogen combustion are very different things internally. MH2 looks like a fuel cell, not combustion. Combustion would be amazing, unfortunately we won't find out watching this video.
