They already have a theory about why no one can get rid of Peeves and how he came to be. Basically he is the accumulation of all the young witches and wizards that attend the school so it makes sense that he would hang out where those same witches and wizards are honored and memorialized.

After watching the movies I definitely agree. I think the only fictional series I enjoy more is Star Wars. And I know I'm probably in the unpopular opinion but I (so far) have enjoyed the Harry Potter films more than the books themselves. The books have a lot more information then the movies, but the movies are just more enjoyable to me. (Plus when reading a book I can't look at Emma Watson's pretty face, lol)

I didn't get a few of th se but bizarrely I knew about peeves and the trophy room instantly! I think he likes to make mischief in there- can you imagine the noise if he knocks them all over onto a stone floor, or smashes glass cabinets? And also because I imagine Argus finch has to spend a lot of time polishing and dusting the trophies? Hence how the adjective is "bouncing" around, that description always stuck with me as I can't stand the noise of glasses or metal cutlery hitting the floor at the best of times.

I believe the reason for that is actually because in prisoner, Sirius enters Hogwarts through a secret entrance around the trophy room, and peeves hangs around there because he knows something is going on. And Harry is always looking at the map and notices Peeves there on a few occasions. That's the only reason I think.

You can tell gryffindor and slitherin and the farthest apart as in the tables because in Snapes Origin the video, it says that snape was slitherin, and lily was gryffindor, and that they were thus the farthest apart in the Hall. Then Ravenclaw would be Beside gryffindor, and lastly hufflepuff beside slytherin.
