Of note: This problem exists only if you have multiple rules that target the same type of styling (2 rules that want to add something in front, etc). This isn't a problem when you have 2 rules that target different stylings (underlining and on front, for example).

On a related note, metadata menu allows you to append unique icons to links based on fileClass, also allowing you to eliminate ambiguity between say, a note about Castlevania the franchise and one about the first game in that series.

If you have two fileclasses or tags mapped to fileclasses, again, there'll be a conflict... Same developer, btw

text replacement, i use alfred on macOS but there are plenty of programs that can do this

Thats true, just take away and note what works for you. Even someone elses perfect vault system may not work for you until you make it your own. It requires some time spent on it, I tell you that much 😊

For some reason in Z/Research I only get book, tweet and video populated, but not thought and article and timeline is not populating. I have the dataview, dbfolder, tag-wwrangler, callout-manager and copied the json and styles from your newsletter vault and did not work. Am i missing something else?

Hi Bryan, I am wondering what kind of type or status tag did u give your notes about programming when you were developing your knowledge base about that in obsidian? input notes? my notes? I want to take notes about my self and notes for projects but I dont know how they will fit into the system

still refining those details for my devlog and health notes at the moment but the inputs will remain the same inputs, a video is a video is a video

@@BryanJenks Thank you for replying. It would be intersting to know how u tag ur health notes. I am having difficulties to know how tag them because sometimes you might have information which is a diagnosis etc and u just want to have an overview about everything regarding your actual health and what ur next steps are etc. Another scenario is writing down some exercises but then I do not know how or with what to tag them. Would also just make them as "my-notes"?

In the publish template, I see you only use tags with icons, it looks very clean and neat, so in your own vault do you create other tags for specific topics, or do you just related notes together?

i link the notes together :) there are also searches to bundle notes with keywords contained within them so i can get a quick slice of the vault for everything containing links to or mentions of "Autism" for example

How do you have the shortcut ,gs to make a 🟩? is that an obsidian thing or in your computer system?

i use alfred on MacOS to use snippets like that ,gsq == 🟩️ etc there are plenty of programs that can do the same thing for any system

There's an awesome program called Espanso that makes that super easily with text configuration and works on Mac, windows and Linux. I highly recommend it.
