I have had BMW's back to my 1602 when I was in college. I have a 2011 335is and a 2017 SS in my driveway right now. Sure, the Chevy isn't quite as nice as the BMW in the fit and finish and, from this driver's perspective, they are both great fun to pilot around. Also, I just had to change out my BMW battery and it set me back $1200. That's just freaking ridiculous. Love my BMW and my SS... and my Miata and my Yukon XL.

That's my flavor flave of a car! Fast, roomy, comfortable, room for 3-4 passengers, and with a great sounding engine. And personally, I think it looks pretty good, especially this one. All at a very reasonable price. And you know in a couple years you'll probably be able to score a clean example for about a third(or even a quarter?) of it's original selling price. I used to own a 2000 BMW 540i, so I'm intrigued to see how they really compare. Great One Take, Matt!

This was a refreshing surprise. I never thought twice about these cars mainly because it reminds me of rentals. But this really made a value proposition. And that interior looks way better than I was expecting. Not a bad way to go for the sleeper fans. Question though: can you do a supercharger like this in California and pass smog?

I've got a 2015 ss with a 2.9 Whipple headers and straight pipes are good for 620 hp to the wheels at least mine is . I was surprised that they made that big of difference

That blower pulley is pretty large. Probably leaving a considerable amount of potential power on the table. Granted, only so much can be used regularly and this setup was probably added with longevity in mind. I really liked the F10 wheel choice. This is one nice ride.

Arrtus The interior is also MILES better!!! The nav sucks obviously, however the rest of the car puts the SS to shame. I have owned an E39 M5 and want another. It has one of the finest insides of any car made. It aged well and still feels so lovely and expensive. Its a real masterpiece.

It's closer to the E39 then you think. E39 engineer went to work for Holden. He was one of the people that developed that chassis.

As much as I love BMWs, they are my favourite car company. This car is clearly better than the E39 M5. Love them both, but yeaa I'd rather have this .. in manual of course. Definitely a great purchase. :) I've seen maybe two or three of these on the street, really like how they look. Although it is a sleeper, and isn't a typical aggressive sports car .. they do not look boring at all.
