Great driving dude. UNFORTUNATELY every time I go, I can't get a single clean lap due to the fact that they pack the track with too many drivers

Heck yeah! I watched on my way home from my first two races. There's small room for error at this location. Looking back at my first run, I didn't do as bad as I initially felt. I achieved 58.554 my first time here. This was after having to calm my nerves down and getting cotton mouth right before the race started. I do a bit of sim racing at home in VR but this experience was way different! Strapping down that helmet, having an even lower FOV, and then closing the visor down on top of that....mannnn. My right foot started shaking a bit as we were waiting to start. But those feelings began to quickly fade half way through my first lap. Come lap two, my sim racing experience kicks in and I'm starting to push the kart faster, carrying more speed through the turns. I believe it's the final turn you take before coming down the ramp to cross that short straight before lapping (left of the pit exit), and going up another ramp to the right. Those two turns, I kept coming in too hot off that ramp exit smacking the right barrier just before the pit exit and would brake and turn in too soon going up the other ramp scrubbing off speed. Here at 2:30. So after the first run I surprised myself and began thinking, "Cool, I didn't do as bad as I felt. I'm just few seconds away from our fastest driver". They had set a lap in 54 seconds and some change. "Bet, I set a decent baseline of a run as well as a time to aim for (54 seconds). Now we're going for race #2. I believe I had cart #76 the first go and for sure had kart #68 the second go around. I go into race #2 all warmed up but now the cart I was assigned has cold tires. I say to myself as we're going up the first bank into turn one, "now this really feels like the sim." I had to be a lot more careful on my corner exits this time. But I was so locked in it didn't even really matter. It all started coming naturally. A lap or two in, someone spins out in front of me coming down this turn between 1:11 and 1:12, I hop off the throttle, tap the brake, no time to shoulder check, swerve left, got back on throttle to straighten out a bit, back off throttle to stop mini wobbles mod turn in from losing traction and gripping back up so fast repeatedly for a few short seconds. I was giggling like a little kid from there on forward. Posted a time of 60.010 while battling through positions and traffic. Came in 5th this time instead of 8th. On the sim I wouldn't have been as happy with that. But that feeling you get from a real race, it's unmatched! I was cheesing from ear to ear after that adrenaline rush! I'm ready to get some more of that in ASAP!
