Those 6.2s will run forever when they get built solid like that. Powerful and reliable! Awesome build!

@@lanegeisewite1436 another badass Silverado with the American flag emojis I see on your reply.. I have one of these trucks, it contains mostly China Mexico and parts from the Philippines. The glass is owned by a Korean company in these Silverados fuyao is the glass in my Silverado!! Yes a Korean based company!!! There is nothing Chevrolet about them! I own one it's a piece of junk!! The window regulators are from the Philippines!!! Mine's been back to the dealer four times in 14,000 Miles!! There is nothing American about a Chevy truck...

@philllsxga.7737 I have 74k miles on my 2020 Silverado Trail Boss LT w/ 6.2. No issues so far. I bought her in Virginia, then moved to California 3 weeks later. 3 years after moving to California I moved to Florida. It's been a great truck with great fuel economy. It's been offroad, handled city traffic, mall crawling, long distance highway runs (longest 1 day run was 1,100 miles and averaging 22-23 mpg at 78 mph the whole way driving from San Diego, CA to St George, UT and back). It's time as coming, as is the case with all things, but I'm very happy with this truck. And, yes. It was assembled in Mexico. The engine was built in New York, though. Edit: I just recalled there was an incident where I had to take the truck to the dealer for warranty repair. It wasn't the truck, but the GM Accessories dash camera system I had installed by the dealership when I first bought the truck. As I said, the truck itself has been awesome!

So on a GM truck you’ve got to pull the engine and replace it to put out 850hp , but on a F 150 with the coyote you only have to add boost and make the same amount?
@Bmackins942 ай бұрын
Lt1/lt2 pistons and rods will not hold more then 5-6 pounds of boost realibly that's why they do it
@Tyee22 ай бұрын
@ Thanks for the explanation!
@powderfreak72062 ай бұрын
Yeah in order to reliably run that much power it’s good to replace pistons and rods. However the coyote is a lot more boost friendly because you can get a lot more rpm out of it, making it good for boost. It’s extremely efficient for only 5L.

Some people are so brand loyal they'd rather spend double the money than it takes for a ford

To be fair it’s actually to save money because they know the ford will end up in a ditch, totaled in less than a week.

I'm laughing at the Ford😢
@oceanwaves832 ай бұрын
This is just as dumb as a Chevy guy going "Chevy is laughing at Ford with their 632 big block and 454LSX engines. Ford simply can't keep up 🤣🤣🤣🤣" You may have a point, but it doesn't mean anything. It's a big world out there. You can make a 2000hp f150 and there will still be a Chevy faster than you. Literally pertains to ALL brands. Just choose the brand you like, choose the power level, and enjoy. Those who truly value performance don't care as much about stock vehicles as casuals do.
