Supercross on an Enduro Bike?

My Yamaha WR250F proved not that great at hard enduro last time out, so now let's take it to the opposite extreme... and see how it deals with a supercross track! Will the blue trailblazer be able to cope with gun motocross rider, Bailey Basalaj onboard, pushing it up to (and maybe even beyond) its limits?

Hi Ash, do you intend to go ahead with the WR in the enduro direction, i.e. flywheel weight, engine mapping and such? This bike is on my narrower list of bikes I would want to own some day in the future, possibly. So, this is really interesting content!

I absolutely love my 2023 WR 250 F after you remove all the restrictions an get the fmf exhaust the competition ECU with the CCU and wow this bike is amazing there are a few things that need attention like maybe gearing for the snappiness in first gear in the rough hard induro technical stuff but , oh and it is to tall I need to lower it a bit I am only 5foot7 inches . And on my tips of my toes.

Really enjoy your content, particularly the kiwi perspective. I have a 2020 wr250f and overall I'm pretty impressed with it. A little more prone to stalling than my 19 250fx due to the new motor. I think with some mods like a full exhaust system and a clutch weight it would be pretty close though. Obviously for purely hard Enduro the 2 strokes are better but everywhere else the 4 strokes rule. I'm guessing you will be going down the 2 stroke route. Cheers for the entertainment.

That is not a mother fcken farm bike. Yamaha on their website for specs says it hard trails or enduro. A crf250f is a farm bike. I have a wr250f and it's way to powerful for a farm. Just because it has a head light doesn't mean its for a farm

Awesome video the wr is a beast they can hold their own against mx bike on the track. It be Interesting to see how it would go with gncc since most of the gncc in the north island seems to be high speed on most places I've done a few gncc with a yz250f so a that wr should be awesome.

Hey ash new to the channel but loving it ! What you say about map one being just to snappy is exactly like my 2022 430rr (beta) I ride the bike on enduro in the wet setting (map 2) also flame out but I blame that on my riding skill...
