Captain Sisko is damn good at yelling at people, these are some of the best moments.
I love Star Trek DS9 and one of many reasons is Avery Brooks. As any fan of the show knows, Sisko is really good at yelling at people and chewing them out.
When I was listening to an episode of "The Gamma Quadrant" ( gammaquadrant.libsyn.com ) they mentioned there should be a montage of all Sisko's moments of yelling at people. So this video is especially made for you guys, keep up the good work!
Episode List:
Captive Pursuit
Move Along Home
The Search Part 1
Past Tense Part 1
Sons of Mogh
Rules of Engagement
Apocalypse Rising
The Ship
For the Uniform
Business as Usual
Waltz
Far Beyond the Stars
Beyond the Pale Moonlight
Take me out to the Holosuite
Tacking into the Wind

@spasjt
@spasjt 3 жыл бұрын
@Yuki BabaYaga Actually, I never assumed your ethnicity. Further, the 'revolution' has nothing to do with equality but totalitarianism. All you have to do is look at the videos of how people were acting in those CHAZ, CHOP, etc., and you can see with your own eyes how blacks, whites, latinos, whoever were all turning on each other. It was anarchy, that's what they want. Not a society where people care for one another. Fact is, before the democratic party encouraged black mothers to be single and black fathers to be absent, all under the guise of helping the 'poor black victims' by providing money, medical benefits, SAT & ACT test score bonuses, etc. May I suggest you look up the videos of Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Candace Owens and Andy Ngo. Perhaps these videos can start you seeing things from a different perspective. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jp-sgI2LZayoo5o kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYWpqmVvgp1lh5I Lastly, as a latino you must know that socialism and anarchy is poison, look at the history and current situations of El Salvador, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Guatemala, etc., etc. (I've been to those last two countries).
@spasjt
@spasjt 3 жыл бұрын
@Yuki BabaYaga I agree. History shows that the USA was at fault in destabilizing several Central American democracies. To our shame. This mistake has come back to bite us more than once. Corruption and greed have always plagued the USA because those vices are not always countered by virtues of gratitude, contentment, generosity, and charity. There were many reasons why the US government over the years decided to destabilize those governments, but not always for the reasons that the current history books mention. Regardless, all the reasons why the USA did what it did fell short in the most important moral factor - the ends do not justify the means. So, while it is true violence is usually what changes things, such as destabilizing a country for another's prosperity, peaceful means are still not as rare as you think. The Civil Rights March led by Martin Luther King Jr. proves that. Sadly, peaceful means are less well known is because it is not as captivating to an individual's mindset or a video camera. However, back to the original point; Black Lives Matter is a racist, Marxist organization that couldn't care less about how blacks treat blacks or whites treat blacks or blacks treat whites. Did you know that black and white people who decided to become the "new police" extorted black business owners and even killed other people? That's in videos too. White on black crime is clearly below black on black crime. Just because the black victim is harmed by a white man or the white man is harmed by a black man does not automatically make it a hate crime. The outrage that these people are basing their anger on is *unfounded.* The TV news agencies and newspapers in the USA are mostly used as propaganda tools, if you lived in the USA that would be obvious to you too if you looked at their pattern of behavior. If it was as dangerous or as shitty as you think it is *why does some of your family live here???* I'd guess that they live here because, despite its failings, the USA is still the best country to live in for personal opportunity and freedom. If that's not why, then please tell me. Lastly, several videos and legal records of police shootings of black men that occurred were released because they showed that it was the black suspect who escalated the situation causing themselves to be shot? BUT the big exception ANTIFA and BLM were looking for was the Georgy Floyd case. They saw ONE INSTANCE of something that fit their narrative, and they are using it (with the support of socialist democratic party and its media connections) to try and start a race war. Here's the issue with the George Floyd case: ALL FOUR of those police officers were quickly arrested and are awaiting trial! There's no need for the further protests because there's nothing left to protest! They will most certainly be found guilty. Just like one or two other cases that occurred years ago. However, BLM and ANTIFA do not care about any of this. They and their democratic socialist supporters are only interested in starting a race war, as a means of taking power! That's what's going on the USA right now. Not the 'people standing against racism' but a revolution of anarchy and socialism that, AGAIN, you as a latino can look around you and see is ultimately not desirable.

Fun fact: The reason Sisko had a full head of hair and no beard at the beginning of the series is because the writers wanted to differentiate Sisko from Avery Brooks' character Hawk from Spenser for Hire, who was bald with a goatee. @rasheedqe

@Yuki Babayega I think it more of that gene Roddenberry wrote and set up TNG while he didn't write DS9 so the worlds are different. Sisko face more realist situations like war,bigotry,racism and he is dealing with non federation species mostly. While Picard pretty much lives in heaven and just gets into sci fi stuff. Picard does deal with some of the same stuff as sisko but since it's based of gene's stuff the answer will always be we can work this out peacefully. Essentially one world is created by a space hippie and the other is not.

Avery Brooks is the best pure actor in Trek history to me! Sisko just exudes INTENSITY and gravitas! Not only when he shouts, but even when he speaks SOLEMNLY, he still can be intimidating! Just considering "For the Uniform", I could almost SWEAR that Jadzia was about to get accidentally hit as he was punching that bag! And after still seeing that episode more than a dozen times, I STILL flinch and almost jump with "MAJOR!! SHUT THAT THING OFF!!" 😬 And even the quiet but INTENSE way he earlier said to Worf "ComMANder, I SAID.....launch...torpedoes" almost had ME trembling. And there is not enough space to explain how I virtually cry WITH Benny Russell in 'Far Beyond' every.....single....time. Again, we each have our favorite Trek actor, but when it comes to RAW acting intensity, Avery Brooks is second to none! (PS---And let's not talk about how he was so creepy in "Facets" as 'Joran', that it had to be reshot.......because the other SEASONED actors and staff were legitimately creeped out! 😮)
