Sound is much deeper , more aggressive but not a whole lot louder. Perfect! Ps : make sure you use some sandpaper on the baffle and make it a little smaller so it fits better when you put it back in.

mate your vid helped me out I was struggling with the baffle on my euro 5 akra for my honda forza 750 I tried to pull from the front with some grips and bent a little but a few socket extensions later from the back and it popped out!

Mine had the anti-tamper bolt for the DB killer 😭 Had to take it into a shop to get it out, got bored after a few hours!

Two of my friends have gone with the de-cat route. Just got a pipe and the de-cat dongle. Both bikes done a few thousand miles now with no apparent problems. Now, they ARE loud! I have bought the Bodis de-cat pipe and the Healtech dongle. Not fitted yet as I want to break in with standard fittings. I know fuel mixture can be lean without the cat. I don’t like that noise limiting exhaust valve though in the cat and the new pipe would solve that problem. What are your thoughts?

I had the full titanium evo line on my 2015 SD-R and i absolutely loved the sound and how loud it was and spitting flames haha. But i bought the GT for some more "touring" style riding. So i don't want it to be way to loud it gets on my nerves when driving longer distances. I also live close to the German boarder and cops in Germany do not fuck around when you have a loud exhaust. Close to the Nurburgring there are always cops checking for loud exhausts. They will stop you , do a db check and when it's over the limit it's a 300$ fine. And now you have 2 options , 1 you put in your db killer AFTER you paid and they will check again. If it's fine you can go on your way. Or option B if you don't have your db killer with you....your bike is not going anywhere anymore. You can call a towtruck and get your bike back over the boarder that way. 😅

busamaster . Many different de cat pipes on the market. I went for the Bodis one as you can re fit the black plate which hides the cat and makes the bike look tidier. Most others you can’t. Got mine off EBay. Same fit as 2019 of course

Nathan Schmidt The XR is a four cilinder sport cruiser , the Ktm is a 2 cilinder high power and very high torque beast that loves to go fast but it has good cruising options to. 2 Totally different engines...both are good. I want more power and fun so i’m more for a 2 cilinder engine 😎

Erdem Kucuk It’s the same as 2019 but i have had alot of fast motorcycles including a Superduke T but for some reason this V-twin engine keeps making me a little bit wet between my legs 😂. It’s not the speed because i’m kinda used to that but the way it delivers power , the amount of torque it makes with the sound of the engine is just one scary combination 😁

I have superduke 1290r 2022 acrapovich oem. I try to found bolt to remove but no hole at all and if im look inside i dont see bolt . Heating up.and remove? Press fit?

stephen born yes you can but you need to use sandpaper or something and make the baffle a little bit smaller because you really gotta work for it to get it out with a hamer 😅👌. Good luck! Sound so much better without it.

stephen born: on 13 plate R1cp the little rubber grommets are on the out side of slip-ons and there Allan key m8 or m6 about 15mm long, once out they fit under rear cowl or seat. On a warm exhaust they slip in and can turn to line up fixings. On a cold bike they need a bit of lube, a drip from dip stick. Always carry them with us when out playing, on the off chance we meat a jobs worth, kind of stop. But had NO problems even riding and going round Nurburgring. May be of some help, for ya 👍🇬🇧

It’s maybe one decibel louder with the db killer out but the sound is way deeper. So not alot louder but it sound way more powerful 😁

The Db killer will never make your ears bleed so don’t worry. The growl is alot deeper and it sounds like it breaths better 😁 The intro is a custom animation made for me be a friend. I own a couple of KZbin channels and we make some animations from time to time. That’s my Suzuki Gsxr 1000 , and the helmet says 103 wich has been my motorcross number for years. 13 Was taken so i picked 103 😁. Couldn’t find a Superduke to animate haha.

F.P Have to take it with me when going to Germany 🙈. It’s to loud now and i get pulled over in Germany and i can’t shut the beast up that bike is going nowhere anymore. German police are not happy with loud motorcycles 😂

F.P F.P I do not , i repeat , i do NOT recommend going decat 😂🙈. Giant flames will shoot out of it but i’m not kidding , we had earplugs in when we started up the Superduro last week. That Austin Racing is alot shorter then the Akrapovic but still , removing the cat makes it soooo loud 🙈

heykat18 i 100% agree with that 😁. But i live close to Germany and they have the best roads ever. Including The Nurburgring ofcourse 😊. And German police does not f*ck around when they catch you with an exhaust over 94db. It’s not only a fine but they also make your bike illegal to ride in Germany on the spot....bad situation if you’re 4 hours away from home 😅🙈

Life of Smokey when I removed the cat it didn’t increase that much definitely not over 94 dB. The sound was just a deeper rumble and that’s with the silencer removed.

The Akra sound very deep and a little louder then the original one. But still within limits. On most motorcycles i always take the Akra because they sound very deep but not to loud so you can still do alot of miles without getting annoyed by loud noises 😊
