I am afraid to buy one and it's not why you think I'm a afraid they got such a bad reputation for being unreliable I just wish they were like the Japanese bikes i have a Hayabusa nothing ever goes wrong with it 25000 miles but I want to change bikes ride something more upright like this but $20,000 lot of money for this if it's unreliable.

​@@richardcerritelli9657My SAR had a critical engine failure during the first year of ownership. They're fun when they run, but most are in the shop far more than on the road. Replaced it with an MT-10 and couldn't be happier.

@@richardcerritelli9657 For reference. 27k on my 2017 GT, it had one electrical fault which was actually a wire which had rubbed through, easy fix (once it was found =D). I've also had mechanical failure but that's my own doing and a bodge job has sorted that for 10k miles and counting.

I loved the video but he presented it like it is a Gen 3 and it a Gen 2.5 at best. Also I had no idea that it was his first trip to a real race track. Great video with a couple of nits to pick. Happy 2020 Gen 2 owner here with 30K miles and climbing and I will be the first in line for a Gen 3 if they build one!

Until something goes wrong with it and it's in the shop that's why I won't purchase one very unreliable. I wish they would solve all the problems out especially Electronics I'll be damned if I'm going to spend $20,000 on a motorcycle and have it in the shop more than I am riding.

It’s a great bike! One of the most fulfilling machines that I had the pleasure to ride and to own. The only nit pick is electronic issues, like false messages of trouble that are annoying, creating immediately worry and deficits of confidence to do long mileage tours with the Bike, what is a pity and in certain locations the lack of professional technical assistance leveled to the standards of the brand and leveled to the value of the bike. Other than that, I only have fantastic things to say about it. 🤙🤙

That's the only reason I don't buy one they have a bad reputation for being totally unreliable. No, I try to switch if the abs and do it if I remember coretly. Sometimes the ABS kicked in even do the abs was switched of. You just need to find a grippy tarmac ;)

I think its fuel efficiency is better than naked super duke.. coz most of the duke bikes have kind of bad aerodynamics, that it would take nearly 70 percent of total power to overcome this wind resistance, thus making less fuel efficient...

​@MajorDrama1 Gen 1 XR is definitely more of a hooligan with still basically identical technology as the Gen 2 just a little less adjustment available, for the GT it's definitely Gen 2, the suspension and tech is a big step up

owned the bike a year or so , amazing bike however it really tiring to keep the bike in legal speeds, best on touring two up and go fast stop fast, styling is amazing too. But i turn to 2022 Super adventure s as its easy to live with. Can go SLOW! can go as fast, but also good when the road is not good :D
