I can confidently say that the grinding part really sucks!! If you have the extra $$$ buy a grinder capable of a 7” wheel. It’ll help a lot!

I just got this video as a recommendation, so I watched it. Good to see a young starter in Jeeps. Then to be a do'er not a company sponsored shill on U-tube. FYI: I was thinking use the "blue wench" too, but I figured you didn't have a cutting torch. If you have only one 4.5 grinder's when it's in your budget get a second one. It will come in handy for your future projects, one can be grinding wheel and cut off flap or wire wheel. Or as I've had to do let one cool off. Well you got a new sub

Thank you!! I would love to have a torch just haven’t got around to getting one yet. And I’m sure it’s hard to tell but I have a 5” grinder and the 4.5” grinder. Thanks again!! I appreciate the support!

Lots of work. Sometimes a 5" or 6" cutoff wheel is the way to go. Sometimes an acetylene torch is a better tool for the job.

I wish i had a torch!! Lol I almost bought a 7” grinder for this job but was too cheap. Took a solid day and a half to get done.

If u have a plasma cutter use that for the big control arm brackets that what I did on mine

Great video - about to pick one up myself very soon. This weekend soon! Just wondering - I see a lot of forums / fab dealers reference the dana 60 as a Super duty 05+. Until what year is that valid? is the 2005 Super duty the same as one from 2017 for example? I've heard in a few places that 2012+ no longer can support 5.38 gears. Looking for some clarity - Thank you for the video series. Dope to see it all happen
