Another great informative video content! Your KZbin channel is a younger version of “DieselTechRon!” You give great “how to” advice with your step by step detail. It’s great to have a lift for working your vehicle but it can also be done with floor jacks & Jack stands because you take the mystery out of the process! Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing your next video!

Great video bro. Just to let you know something. Your BJP1 C clamp has a flat spot in the center of it. Thats so you can mount it in a vise. It makes quick work of removing and installing the U joints. Who ever invented that tool at Snap-On is a genious.

Great video! I feel like every time I've done ball joints it needed wheel bearings, and every time I go to do wheel bearings I find loose ball joints. Also, jealous of that Snap on Ball joint press. Didn't look like you needed three hands.

I have watched many ball joint videos prior to doing the ball joints on my 07 F250, but this is hands down the most informative! Wish I had that Snap On kit. My kit doesn’t have the correct cups drive out or install the ball joints. Can’t seem to find a kit that will work either for a reasonable price. Love that you can thread the cups on your Snap On press. Lot less of a headache.

Any tips on how to keep that lower nut from spinning with the ball joint? I cannot get mine tight.
@scubasteve79462 жыл бұрын
I have used a floor jack and lifted up on the knuckle in the past to get the taper snug enough to not spin while I tightened it. Also, an impact gun is helpful for that as he showed vs hand tightening.

Asking for a friend here. I’m trying to pull a 6.0 motor out but the torque converter nuts are rounded off. Any tips tricks? Could really use the help. Thanks.
@LeftLaneDiesels3 жыл бұрын
Access the nuts from the front of the vehicle, assuming the entire front clip is off including all coolers etc.... On the drivers side just above oil pan in the rear cover of the engine there is a black grommet. Remove the grommet to gain access to the nuts. Then you will want to line up and heat the nut. Then grab a socket that won’t quite fit on it and hammer it on good. With a long extension break it free from the front. Watch my king ranch playlist where I dealt with this exact issue.
