I’m the complete opposite of you lol. I’m a beginner and find strumming patterns difficult, but finger picking is really easy for me (as long as I grow out the nails on my right hand). Keep up the great work, your videos have really helped me through this pandemic man.

10:21 I play that part using my pointing finger to fret the 1st ,2nd and 3rd strings on the second fret plus my middle finger to make the D chord then I use the pinky to move the bass around and land on the A chord also fretting only with my pointing finger, it feels quite comfortable, thanks for sharing !!

does anyone know why the G major scale ends in an A when you play it on guitar. That makes no sense to me, the point of a major scale is that it is build with seven notes with the last note being an octave higher but the same note as the first note. So why does the g major scale on guitar end on the last string, the high E, on an A note. T3wqhe last three notes are Fsharp on the first string second fret then a G note on the first string third fret and then an A note on the first string fifth fret (why is this note played, the G note should be the last note played but it is not WHY?)
@leejohnblackmoremusic4 жыл бұрын
It doesn't end on A it ends on G at the 3rd fret. If you start on G and count up the scale 8 notes the 8th will be G, if you're ending on A then you're not counting the octave as the 1st. Use your ears, it will make sense 👍🎸
