The shovel spark trick is such a simple concept but tough to pull off. The road surface is roughed a little to create a somewhat rougher surface for sparks to be created. The road is resurfaced again at night before the holiday party.

Fantastic vlogg. You two are the best. I think they sell way to many tickets for a special event like this. It was way to crowded. I watched everyones vlogs from last night and I think the heat factored in that the crowds were very subdued during the parade and fireworks. When the headless horseman came through usually the crowd would be cheering and going crazy to see him. In all the vlogs the crowds just didnt seem to have the enthusiasm in them. Of course, you and Sam always do.

Me and a few people around me cheered, but I was like… am I missing something? Being someone from the UK its so weird seeing people celebrating halloween in August. I’m sure Sam knows what I mean. People barely even bother to celebrate halloween even in October here. Like barely anyone decorates as it is. Shops will have a little halloween section selling cheap looking items to buy but only like supermarkets and it will not be added till at least the end of September maybe.
