I grew up an hour north of Cape May, N.J. I went to the U.S. Coast Guard Boot Camp, there. My buddies and I would go there during High School and College. I worked one summer at a Marina there. My heart will always be long there! I never knew Disney had an attraction for it. Making me love Disney, this much more! Thank you! ❤

I agree there is something about the resort that reminds me of some of the places I noticed in certain towns on the East Coast like Framingham, Massachusetts or Maine. Those character interactions are wonderful. That Donald Duck has an amusing way about him. I loved Minnie and Daisies dresses and Goofy is wonderful.

I have told folks if meeting the main mouse, Mickey, is not a deal breaker then Cape May is a great character breakfast. My family loves it and my father in law hardly smiles but best guy Goof came to the table.... He was a total kid again and couldn't stop smiling the rest of the day! The Interaction between you and Characters is the best😊 you been doing it for years, so it's easier for you to talk to the Characters. We ate at Garden Grill in 2022 vacation and I was lost for words when talking to Characters 😅😊 Characters are the best😊 Anyway, Disney Breakfast Character Dinning looks like the best time to get Character dinning. The lunch and dinner times look like good foid options but not the best ever food to eat. So I would love to do a Breakfast Character dinning. Disney Breakfast no matter what Disney place, the Breakfast is the best in my opinion. Although we haven't had opertunity to eat at to many places yet. This was great. Enjoyed. I'm a little jealous 😅😊 I can't wait to go to Disney World in 2026. Tha k you. Be Safe Take Care 😊❤

Thx Jackie for the review. I’m glad your experience here was a lot better than mine. Based on my experience, I would recommend going elsewhere. The food was meh at best and we only had one character visit us. The server however was very professional and did his job well. It just goes to show you how inconsistent the food and experience are at Disney restaurants. Thx again!

Your video today made my day..let me tell you. This morning got a mickey waffle maker, so excited my daughters loved it, I loved it, it was great just like at Disney…it was so nice! Nicely presented, Jackie! This one made me tearful because we stayed there a couple of years ago and had so much fun. We didn't eat at Cape May, though, and after seeing your meal, I wish we did. Beaches and cream and cream and the Yachtsman Steakhouse are delicious. We enjoyed the pool with the lazy river and the long water slide. We also loved having a short walk to EPCOT. I miss it so much, but it's quite a trek from Los Angeles, so it'll be a while. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the trip down memory lane 💙

Honestly I would go with whiter has the better price. I’ve never stayed at Yacht Club, but as far as lobby, food and things I’ve seen go, I love them both equally and would be thrilled with either!!

Interesting question and no! I’ve never had dinner there but I know it’s seafood, and I honestly didn’t even think about it and there was no seafood smell at all! I saw they steam the whole buffet and clean it really well so maybe that’s why. Plus the beach club lobby smell is so fresh and strong haha.

And I could eat seafood every day of my life no problem. I was thinking maybe the carpet and fabrics would hold the seafood smells. Cape May doesn’t smell as much like fish like it did pre covid because they no longer cook the crab legs in the center kiosk because they are no longer on the buffet. The only fish is baked salmon.
