Ennamma , you are doing calculation on the basis of 24 hours per day. This is misleading the viewers. We normally use fan in 10 hours per day in any one of the room.

yes bro, after 10 hour living room, they go to otherroom, if they are working office mean they switch off otherwise, homemaker also be home.kindly check with ur mom & wife..
