Wow! That was hard to watch b/c the amount of brutal violence but it was a hall of a good movie all the same..My step dad is from KY and grew up making moon shine.He told me all about the history,etc,so this was very nostalgic for me..

Excellent movie. Times were hard for our Forefathers and Mothers. How many of us could deal with the struggles most folk had to deal with before WWII was over. The city dwellers had it much worse than we hill folks 'cause we raised our own food. Staples from town were sometimes hard to come by but we found a way. How do I know? I was raised by my Grandpa and Grandma in the Ozarks of Missouri mid 1950's thru 1962. Nearest town was 10 miles South. Grandpa and Grandma went there once every two weeks for things they needed while me, my brother and sister stayed behind to tend to chores. Yes, we knew we were poor folk but so was everyone else in those parts so we didn't think much about it. 1962 I got a chance to leave and head West. I took it, didn't look back and have never returned. In my mind's eye I prefer to keep Grandpa, Grandma and their little 80 acre farm just as they and it was.

I was born in 1968 so I never saw that but it's so hard to imagine that it wasn't that far a distant memory. I'm thankful that we have changed as a human race.

Love the movie , the Main Character like himself , client E , Kevan C , don’t have to start a lot of drama , just got to be a good instinct in any situation for excursion , got to protect your own life
