I think Mitch just happens to rap like Nicki Minaj. xD Not really a fan of Nicki myself, but I still enjoy Mitch's rapping. Didn't really see the comparison until Shay brought it up, but now I can kind of see it. I just kind of separate them into their own category. They're unique enough to be enjoyed even though they may cover "questionable" music and artists.

Then Superfruit put their spin on it, a lil harmonies here and there, smoothing out the melodies, Mitch transitioning from rapping to singing in a nick of time and the last rap part done in harmony. Brilliant 🎶💃

I feel like Mitch kinda emulates the rapper sometimes. Because there's a PTXVlog, iKevin but I don't remember the actual name, and he raps there too. That was the first time I heard him rap and it's quite different. Check it out! Anyway, great video as always. As much as it pains me to see someone not be as crazy about Mitch as I am, it's kind of a refreshing change. Idk!

The reason that is version is way better than the original is because Mitch is way more talented than Nicki Minaj. He can go seamlessly from rap to singing and back again. That isn't in the original because Nicki can't do it. Plus I love Scott's voice and the way the two harmonize. I agree with you I'm like to see Mitch do someone else's rap instead of Nicki.

hmm #nellymitch would be interesting. i can see him doing slick rick too. it'd be cool to see him try another style from someone besides nicki. how does one sound "clean" when rapping, especially when you're leaving most of the lyrics unchanged like superfruit did? If I rap along to twista, would I sound clean? Would I automatically have flow and be good at rapping? How exactly does that work?
