For all of the well meaning shippers I ask you just to pause for a second and consider what I am writing. Think about the person who you are closest to in a non-romantic way in your life, regardless of gender. Think about the way you can be all in each others personal space and be silly or serious or just be with each doing nothing in particular. Now, how would you feel if you literally have people telling you daily to be something you aren't with the person who is so important to you? Wouldn't that put pressure on your friendship and add stress to your life that doesn't need to be there? We all support Scott and Mitch with whatever makes them happy and it seems to me that they are happy with how they are. I am pretty darn sure that if they were dating someone would have found out or they would have shared that with their fans, since they know how much some people hope its true. Also, with how open they have been about their early friendship and the start of Pentatonix I feel like they are not scared about being themselves. As for all the cutie kissing etc stuff they have done, they can do that because they are comfortable with each other and they know that it gets a reaction and attention which as celebrities that is how they pay their bills and also it's probably funny to them. But if all this doesn't convince you shipprs generally to keep it to day dreaming then just consider the question of whether you would force someone you know to make a public announcement about something that is so personal? It's like people who out someone for their sexuality. To me it doesn't seem okay.

I did a meet and greet with them last week and it was so uncomfortable. I was completely tongue tied and basically just stared at them like an idiot.They looked away because I was so incredibly awkward. For a week I've been beating myself up with regret. I've been thinking, I have to save up enough money to do it again next year and actually act like a human being and compliment them, tell them how much I love their work and ask good questions. I had all of that in my brain and NONE of it came out. But after watching this, I'm good. I lost an opportunity, but that's okay. They have each other, I have a nice picture with them that conveyed none of the weirdness and I probably would act like a complete loon again if I met them again anyway. They inspire me with their music, with their work ethic, with their friendship and their basic curiosity, laughter and niceness. That's more than enough. Thank you for this video. It made me feel a lot better about being a complete dork in their presence.

Awww, this is so sweet! I can almost guarantee they didn't think you were weird or anything like that, they meet nervous fans all the time! And they themselves get nervous around their idols, just think about Scott when he's too scared to talk to Beyoncé, or how quiet Avi or Mitch can get sometimes... Curandera99 Oh my gosh, I know I would do the exact same if I had the opportunity! I met a voice actor who I really liked and I said "You look different shaved." And he laughed and said "Shaved? I never had a beard!" And looking back on it, it was okay cuz he was laughing and super friendly even though at the time I felt like an absolute moron. So if I was ever in the presence of Superfruit I know I'd say something really really stupid to them. But like, at least you were lucky enough to meet them! I would've left that meet and greet feeling blessed! XD

Hard to tell. I think maybe saying something silly that made them laugh is a step better than just staring like a stalker and they are forced to look away. I think these two embody the idea of a soul mate. it's not about romance or sex it's about a deep connection on a level that is like no other. Two souls seeing one another and connecting in the most complete and pure way. Transcending the physical body and it's primal needs and finding an unconditional love and acceptance most of us would kill for. This is the kind of connection you're being told about when you're told about 'TRUE LOVE'. People so often mistaken lust and infatuation for true love, but that kind of love doesn't even translate into sex. It goes beyond that and makes it look trivial and pointless. If we could all find one person in our lives we could connect to like this, this world would be in a better place because we would all be more stable. this is why we need to tear down the societal expectations of intimacy and make it safe for everyone to show one another affection and support without nasty labels or toxic assumptions.
