Alex is acting like Iris west when Barry had to go into the speedforce to keep the world from being destroy. Alex even said that she didn't care about the world being destroy as long she gets Esme back. I'm glad that she didn't get her own show.

The truth is that Alex has been this way since the very first episode. She is always trying to get over Kara's head, as if she is always right. Kara had the strength to sacrifice the man she loved to save the world, but when it comes to a little girl she barely knows because she just adopted, the world is screwed, according to Alex's logic. Everyone was worried about Esme's safety. But after all, Alex always becomes irrational, impulsive and sometimes aggressive when she is under pressure or when she is contradicted. Kara however, is very intuitive and tactical, and even rational when she finds herself in this situation.

Cue the long crazy rant lol: They really tried to force the daughter angle. I mean not saying she can't love the girl, but being a woman in her position as a hero and as a decorated soldier, the world should've come first. More than once Alex was taking a 💩 all over Kara (even when Kara was making very smart points) to defend Esme when Alex literally just adopted her like an hour ago. So the whole she's MY daughter thing sounded way too artificial, especially with the world being at stake. Like really Alex? You're really willing to risk letting the earth burn just to save an alien girl you just adopted? Where even if you save her at that moment, everyone will die anyway...including the girl you just saved? smh 😖

Such a bad writing , they really make people hated Alex those last few eps, I get it Alex is emotional wreak since day one but this is just too much, it cringed , honestly the “my daughter” sounds so lame, this is Kara u are talking to , wake up Alex

Alex is not thinking straight giving a villain more power isn't gonna get what you want. Alex doesn't care about the world all she wants is her child back but giving back bad guys more power is not gonna do it.

Alex was like that during Crisis on Earth-X when Kara was kidnapped by her and Oliver's doppelgangers and Thawne, Alex acted the same way, and Sara had to calm her down and assured her that they were going to save her. At least it didn't turn out to be like the Last of Us situation.
