I think it's more because of tiredness. As they do all these interviews back to back in one day. Most of the day they are just repeating their answers. I don't why people take it as annoyed or being aloof. But I believe katie does have a dry sense of humour . I have seen her other interviews and she always seem witty and sarcastic . + very good, the cast did an interview with mtv the day before this video and jeremy was like "supercorp will never happen omg some fans just need to sTOP" when nobody even asked him about supercorp??? and then katie saved the day by saying "i think it's rad that everyone gets to see whatever they want in our show and our characters" or something like that. and then chris wood was such a Straight Boy™ and had to make some little joke about how sexuality works. and basically supercorp fans were upset because all they wanted to do was enjoy their ship in peace, and half the cast was actively making fun of it for literally no reason. so then jeremy posted this really aggressive "apology" on instagram that was basically like "um... why is everyone being mean to me???? ur making me sad :( this isn't how u should treat people. it's not my fault that i don't like ur gay ship" and then everyone was like "that's not an apology, jeremy" and then he posted another apology that was a little better. basically though i think chris was the worst, and i don't think he's apologized, and people think melissa feels like she's gotta stand by her man.

I honestly do feel bad for Katie because she does look uncomfortable, and in every interview she seems so done with them, more than normal in a press junket. For ppl saying "haters" are reading too much into it 1)Katie LOVES comic con she's a HUGE nerd and loves interacting with fans and talking about the project she's working on-she rarely gets exhausted of it 2)She's never a killjoy she likes joking and having fun with casts (look at Merlin or even the Tudors where she met her best friend Natalie Dormer) 3)she's very fun in her individual interviews. Casts don't have to get along BUT when it seems that a cast member is singled out (minus Odette who gives seems to actually give a damn about Katie) that's very telling about the ppl in this cast and needs to be called out.

yeah the body language here was weird. odette basically had her back turn to the people next her and was angling away from them it seemed, While turning her head to speak as needed. Katie pulled her hand in front of her in a kind of self protective way when you usually see her talk with her hands and being very lively during interviews like on Merlin. Also she leaned away to create space between Melissa and herself. I am not saying the cast hate each other but something was going on.

Odette was only sitting in that position coz she was wearing a dress.. and as she is tall there wasn't much space for her legs to face forward... now Katie... makes a point of leaving as much space between her and Melissa as possible, and that position is quite uncomfortable cause it leaves the spine badly positioned, this body language is as if she is saying I don't want trouble, but Melissa touches her twice and the third time is an accidental touch the hands touch together in the same time, but there is a third interview that same day, they are more cool, more chill and Melissa touches Katie's arm and then Katie leans her head on Melissa's shoulder and she responds by leaning on Katie's head, it's as if the atmosphere had become less tense, had become lighter.. phew! Lol

don't know what happened here, if tiredness mixed with something else that might have happened etc etc. Now Katie's body language says something..I didn't find it very funny what Jeremy did in that interview singing that about Supercorp, but I respect his opinion, I just think he wouldn't need to do that scene so emphatically if the interviewer had directed the question to him asking for his specific opinion, okay it was enough to answer normally and that was it, there was no need to be ironic like that, I think of it this way: before you do, put yourself in the other person's shoes (or people, which is the case here). What IF if it were the other way around, someone did exactly what he did with a shipper (straight couple) he was rooting for, and that someone was a gay man, and did that, I'm pretty sure he'd have an opinion about it and would find it somehow rude/a bit annoying or something, Y'know.. for me everything is a matter of RESPECT. See, he's an actor, and people who work in this business need to understand that they have an audience if you respect them they will respect you too, for me everything comes from these two keywords: Empathy and respect.

I'M IN TEARS 😭 are people really getting all high & mighty over a song about a _fictional_ planet? & *um, the most important point being the song's **_clearly_** satirical.* (which is when you say something that's so clearly contrary to the facts, that it's hilarious! whilst making it's point known. Very influential in classic literature & theatre pieces 🙃) Anyway, moving onto this other interesting word, _Irony_ . Supergirl is very cleverly crafted & quite progressive actually, so all this hate is immensely misplaced & thus _ironically_ , the haters are creating more negativity here than anybody else.

umm people, the song is not saying "Daxam is a cool place because it had slavery" it's saying "hey here's my planet where we party all the time". It's called the DAXAMITE theme song. Most Daxamites would never give a second thought towards slavery because they were raised on the idea that it was no big deal. Rhea HERSELF didn't call them slaves she called them servants. it's all in the perspective, people.

RBK GLZ I'm sure that that never even entered their minds when coming up with that embarrassing song. People's sense of reality is starting to scare me if they're getting this upset about a song made about a fictional planet on a fictional TV show. If they were gleefully singing about the Holocaust or about the south during civil war era it would be different. Not only that, but people are also up in arms about the fact that one of the actors said that Kara and Lena are JUST friends. It apparently upset the people who ship them together. How does anyone have the right to be angry about THAT? People have truly lost their minds.

Kay2be2mr You don't understand, it's the WAY they said it. Jeremy screamed it into the camera. And no, it's not about the actual ship, it's the way they invalidated the concept of female/female relationships like it was the most ridiculous thing they'd ever heard. It seriously upset many LGBT+ fans, and older LGBT+ people are even more upset by the fact that there are probably some LGBT+ kids that are fans of the show that watched the interview and had their feelings ridiculed. So yeah, it goes way beyond shipping.

Tania Henderson There are real horrible people in this world who in ACTUALITY say terrible things about the LGBTQ community, and about certain cultures, religions, and skin colors. THAT deserves people's anger, hate and rants. Not the fact that some TV fans got jokingly corrected about their imaginative insinuations over two fictional characters.
