Superglue Repairs Carbon Fiber! - C6/C8 Corvette Hack

For those that don’t know, Superglue (CA glue) can be used to repair and modify carbon fiber parts.
Here I’m using it to glue parts back together after they are sectioned to narrow them.
Accelerator causes the CA glue to cure instantly.
Ever wonder WHY superglue does such a great job of gluing your fingers together? Well, it’s because moisture speeds up the cure cycle and your skin is around 64% water. And yes, I managed to glue my fingers together. 😖
BTW, acetone softens CA glue. 😊

I can't believe your engagement is so low on this project, you should be getting millions of views. Why not try editing a long format video for one part start to finish instead of dozens of updates with no actual work getting done? Find a college kid to edit a video, I'll chip in.

Thanks for the suggestion! 😊 So are you saying to take the small clips, combine them, and then edit the collection into a start to end topic? Something like: - DIY Custom Aluminum Grill - DIY Forged Carbon Hood - Cheap Carbon Fiber Fender Flares Etc Right now I’m about 10 videos behind just uploading videos. I’ll put up a video and see if I can get a volunteer to help with that. I’m thinking that the first step would be to create that collection out of what’s already there. Once that’s done we can see if there are any gaps that need to be filled and I can create new videos to fill those gaps. Any suggestions on what topic looks like it might not need very many new videos? How about ones that would be in high demand?
