This was before he started talking about he's friends with Adrien... and Marinette wasn't suspicious or anything.... drives me crazy but it's definitely in character for how close these 2 are to figuring things out about each other but haven't so far. When Mari's talking about how Lila is threatening to get Adrien pulled out of school and Cat's saying he won't let that happen... Bud, your basically saying you won't let Lila manipulate your dad.... your dad who you can't even get to have a meal with you!!! "Her champion " and "He envied her Buttercup" Oh my word! *melting 🥰

I love that this fic seems to be dealing with the repercussions of the class siding with Lila at the end of season 3 and the Gabriel-Lila alliance. That was kind of swept to the side during season 4 and now that we've been reminded of it in Risk, I don't think we'll have time to explore the repercussions considering everything else that's happening at the same time.

YES!! I LOVE LOVE IT!! I remember I would write a fan idea to other fans of LB and CN, who would write fanfiction about the MLB characters on YT. The fan idea was about Adrien finding out that Lila had threatened (blackmailed Marinette.)During the process of the story Cat would be supporting Marinette, and they would soon start to develop feelings for each other. I remember in one of the comments or maybe I thought about it, where I wanted to see Marinette run away from the situation to see how Adrien/CN and the classmates would react. The title of the fanfiction I came up with "The dark side of telling lies, The bright side of telling the truth." I wonder if in this version we will have the love triangle back. Meaning CN/Adrien now knows Lila has still been bullying Marinette, however Luka has never met Lila. What if Lila tries to tell negative comments and idea about Marinette, but Luka knows it isn't true. (Going with the idea that Luka knows Marinette is LB.) What if Marinette develops feeling for Cat/Adrien and Luka while the whole Lila situation is going on? What if Marinette runs away? Who would Marinette stay with in the end? (If the Love triangle would happen)
