this movie was a really pleasant surprise for me, it truly does justice to the classic Airplane and Naked Gun 80's movie series classics as well as pay homage to them. It is one of my favorite of the series (the "/something/ movie" series), it's like in a whole different level. I even ended up caring for the characters almost forgetting the parody part.

There’s one part of this movie that cracks me up regardless of how many times I’ve seen it over the years... Kevin Hart & Leslie Nielsen’s characters are hanging something on a wall with a nail gun, & the “Dragonfly” dude walks in, & his grandfather (Nielsen) accidentally shoots a nail at him & he catches it. His grandfather says “Dear God- how did you do that?” and dude says “it’s easier than it looks.” So his grandfather turns to his friend (Hart), and shoots him in the hand at point-blank range, & he says “Nope, I don’t think so.” Then the Dragonfly guy tells him he thinks he has super powers, & his grandfather doesn’t believe him, so he says “alright, throw as many punches as you want- I bet $100 you won’t land one.” So his grandfather again turns to his buddy and throws a punch at him & knocks him down, & he says “Easy money,” and takes the $100, hahaha. Then his grandfather says “What else can you do?” lol
