Sonic 2 on Sega Master System is a very real game. It is a port of the Game Gear Sonic 2 that was released in Europe & Brazil 🇧🇷.

The 8 bit Sonic games were mostly produced in Europe by Sega of Europe, the Genesis games were made in the USA by Sega Technical Institute because of the popularity of the Master System in Europe and Brazil and the lack of interest in it from the USA market. Up until Sonic CD Sega Technical was seen as unofficially in charge of the Sonic Franchise and provided most of the code and story elements for the franchise. The Japan team wanted to only produce Phantasy Star under the assumption that STI was supposed to take over and a bear Universal desire not to work on any of the games for it which is why Sonic CD failed to be ready for three of its four release dates in Japan. It was after the second embarrassing failure that Phantasy Star was taken from the team and they were told to finish Sonic CD and not to work on anything else by the higher ups who then went on to shut down BOTH STI and the European branches working on Sonic games through active sabotage. The last two non Japan only first party games were Sonic adventure 2, and Sonic Heroes.

Yes! The NES Strider theme is freaking awesome! A digital masterpiece. It’s got so much depth and structure for a little chip tune, crescendos and like note bends. It’s def one of if not THE best intro tune in the nes library, maybe retro gaming in general! Good to finally see it get recognized! Lol

Sonic 2 was indeed on the SMS, it was a modified version of mega drive/genisis but was made to be more simple than the genisis version there were three sonic games on the SMS ,

Dude man, don't EVER try and make me decide between Sonic and Mario. Both of them are my bois as far as I'm concerned. Even if it doesn't happen in 2, I'm really hoping for a Mario/Sonic cross over animated movie in a future Mario sequel. REALLY cool of those Sonic VA's to pop in for a guest cameo though. It's always nice to put some faces to some famous voices. Hope you guys can bring them in more in the future.

Stop exaggerating, those "adult" Atari games are not that rare. They go for about 150 to 200 sealed. That's average nowadays. And the ones you have had alot of peeling and rips in the plastic wrap. If you had "Halloween" or "Air Raid", then it would be something to talk about.

I found an Atari X-Man complete in box once at a garage sale. Sold it on ebay for $1600 about 6-7 years ago. I'd imagine it's worth a bit more now. Interesting game.

Sonic 2 is a game on the master system in the UK! Sonic and Sonic 2 were there own individual games on the master system not copy's of there Megadrive counterparts I belive both these games are also on the game gear they are the same as the master system games

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is on the Master System, I played it on the Game Gear though & come on everyone their Rings lol, Sonic & Crackers took elements from Knuckles Chaotix with the Rings Linked to the Charatcers 😄 by the way if you look at the Bottom of the Master System Cover Art Work you'll see that the System is Region Free!! 😄, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is my Favourite of the Classics on the Mega Drive.
