Makes since. However, I have another theory. Just hear me out Mike... What if The Blob is just that...a Blob of the left-over remnant in the animatronics that have been melted and twisted up together? Maybe the Blob is what's left of all the other animatronics from Pizza Simulator, but there's so little left, it built itself up with other parts. "If that's true, then why did attack Burn-trap?" A collective mind like that could have hate filled emotions or collective memories from past events. Or maybe The Blob is Henry! He burned with the others in Pizza Simulator. Either he merged with the Blob, or he is the Blob. I lean towards my first theory. If anyone agrees, Pls let me know.

I actually had a similar idea to your first one: similarly to how William imprinted on the Spring Bonnie’s programming to create Glitchtrap, the children imprinted on their animatronics which eventually created the Blob, and it attacks Gregory because of prior Funtime animatronic programming. On a slightly related note, if all the spirits torture are torturing William in his personal he’ll, I thought that while the kids control their animatronics, and Cassidy speaks through the Mediocre Melodies, but I think the Crying Child is Fredbear, Michael is Rockstar Foxy (since Foxy sometimes helps William), and Dee Dee is Henry, since she changes the game.

Why does he Need Freeing? Does William so Badly wants his Original Body back that he set up this Super Complicated Plan to Infiltrate the Pizza Plex dig all the way down to the Fnaf 6 location just to put his Soul back in his own body. Also If William Body was Retrieved by Fazebear already what the point of going back to the old location. It seem like whatever Code that Glitchtrap came from did not come from Springtrap but someone else. As there would be no need to go back to the Pizzaria Fnaf 6 Location.

I've honestly thought the blob is just a mix of all the agony from the missing kids from the past. From the books, The Afton Amalgamation was defeated from the agony inside the Puppets mask. Even though Charlotte moved on, her agony still resides in the mask. Who's to say the blob is just all the agony of the missing kids, or maybe the bullies from Fnaf 4? We never knew what happened to them. 🤔 Edit: Janitor Bleeds has some interesting Lore in it, I recommend everyone plays the game.

I like to think that this is true, and the actual spirits of the victims are at peace and happy. The blob is just a living reincarnation of the pain, agony and anger they went through. But at least, if its not true and the Blob really are the children's returned souls, they are back where they belong at peace now that William was dragged back to his hellish prison.

So, I really want to point out something: I always thought that Glitchtrap was like a program that was masterfully disguised as a glitch that caried a copy of William's consciousness so it could be uploaded into Burntrap. Like, William wasn't brought back to life, but rather a copy of himself was built.

Apparently that's how it was originally, before Security Breach came along. But it changed the story a bit: it's not that Afton was brought back from Hell, it's that he never got there in the first place. Cassidy (Golden Freddy) held him in this world with rage and hate, where she created this "hell" for him in his mind. Which does make sense: it's made very clear that Cassidy is in UCN tormenting him, but as she was an innocent victim, it was always a bit odd that she'd end up in Hell with him, even as a tormenter. But anyway, once he was scanned and had a new form to inhabit, he was brought out of Cassidy's reverie and became Glitchtrap.

No matter how many times I hear it, the ending speech in FNAF 6 still gives me chills. It's one of, if not, the best Monolog in gaming history. There is such weight and emotion behind it. Funny enough your summation of everything up to SB was probably the most easy to understand and succinct recounting of the important points without going so deep we can't get out. Brilliantly done! As for the Blob I like the idea. That it's just a mass of angry spirits all vying for control, all working towards the same goal. I recently played with the idea that the blob is actually helping Afton, protecting him and in the ending cinematic while it looks like they are destroying him, they are actually taking him away from the collapsing building since he couldn't actually get out on his own in that suit... you're makes much more sense though.

Yeah, the idea the Blob was helping Burntrap is kinda hard to actually accept for the Blob screeches at Burntrap before dragging him towards the ceiling, by the neck, and it seems Burntrap doesn't/didn't want this by the obvious fact that when he is dragged up, you can easily see his legs flailing, like he wants/wanted to be put down.

This was a good video. You summarized things pretty well and your way of narrating is really captivating. Just a small issue, and that is the common misconception that UCN takes place in the afterlife. William didn't die in the fire; he was kept alive by Cassidy and UCN is actually a nightmare inside his mind, which is why Faz. Ent. was able to transfer his soul to the VR game by scanning the circuitboards, because his soul never left his body. And like you said, the other children are most likely in UCN too, so we can assume that Cassidy prevented them from moving on or they decided to stay themselves, so they never left the animatronics.

In the Fazbear Frights story: The Man in Room 1280, we see that William was recovered from the Pizza Place after the fire and taken to a hospital, where Golden Freddy kept him alive and gave him "horrible nightmares". This happens in an alternate universe, but Scott himself said we should use these books to solve the remaining mysteries of the games' story. Also, Henry's plan failing due to Cassidy not letting the souls move on was actually revealed in UCN itself, we just didn't notice, as Cassidy says: "He tried to release you. He tried to release us. But I'm not gonna let that happen. I will hold you here. I will keep you here. No matter how many times they burn us." And lastly, like I said, the only way William and the kids could be back is if they were never freed in the first place, as it wouldn't really make much sense for William to somehow escape his torment in the spirit world and for the kids to return out of nowhere and trap themselves in the animatronics again for no reason.

The Blob is an amalgamation of Funtime Delivery Service animatronics from FNAF 8, or FNAF Special Delivery. There are 3 Bonnie arms within this conglomerate, an extreme indicator of this, and each animatronic in the blob has its endoskeleton in tact, which the originals in FNAF 3 were just empty shells and were burned anyway. Afton used the endoskeletons from the originals to create the wire-y funtime endos in Sister Location, of which became Ennard/Molten Freddy. Molten Freddy is not the Blob, Molten Freddy was sealed away from the other animatronics and couldn’t of absorbed the other scrap animatronics. Afton survived because of agony, which can not be destroyed by fire, unlike remnant. The Blob is likely to be a vessel of remnant and agony created by Vanessa and Afton so that he could remain alive, and even fully regrow his body, since agony can also regrow flesh and bone. This could explain why William’s body grows over the Springbonnie endoskeleton, and even has boney fingers replacing the glamrock endo fingers on his arms.

Afton only used a few parts of the originals' Endoskeletons to melt for the Funtimes. In Follow Me 5, when he dies (meaning he wouldn't have been able to take anything after that) you can see that the majority of their parts are still left there on the floor. Also, he didn't use those parts to create their Endos. He melted them together and then injected that into the Funtimes, who had already existed for quite a while. The issue with The Blob being made out of the AR animatronics is that all of the parts in The Blob are clearly scorched and filled with burn marks (oh and minor correction, AR is not considered FNAF 8. That's Help Wanted, UCN is 7. AR is mostly a spin off with a few canon elements). There must also be more than just mindless remnant there since a few of the animatronics are possessed, while Baby and The Puppet aren't, "coincidentally" also the ones that were most likely to die in FNAF 6.

Bearing in mind that Cassidy also kept the *other souls* (minus Charlotte) from moving on...I honestly think the Blob is simply Molten Freddy after the fire A giant animatronic amalgamation, with the head of Funtime Freddy, that we just so happen to find chilling under the FNAF 6 restaurant? Too many similarities imo The new parts (Bonnie, Chica, Mangle etc) were either stolen from the museum, or supplied by Vanny in order to harvest remnant from the Blob

@@SuperHorrorBro I think OP is talking about the cutscene in UCN where Old Man Consequences tells (presumably) Cassidy to rest their soul and "leave the demon to his demons." but in the ending of UCN we see Golden Freddy still twitching away, still torturing William. Also about the books... it's complicated. Basically: Same cannon, different timeline. So if the book reveals that Remnant can be burned away with fire, we can take that information to the games and see how it applies there.

I recently marathoned all MatPat's FNAF theories and was happily surprised to see you include the Evan name. A detail that gets to me is the Puppet's mask lacks its tear marks which as the 8-bit cutscene shows, appeared after Charlotte possessed it. Also while most heads in the Blob have glowing eyes, Baby and the Puppet do not, suggesting Elizabeth and Charlie aren't in here. Which would leave the remaining Funtimes from Molten Freddy whose face interestingly looks closer too that of Funtime Freddy's. Any chance you'll do a history of FNAF 4?

Here one Theory what if the Blob is Where Vanny is keeping those souls of The New Kidnap Children from the Pizza Plex. We know in the Gregory ending their are Missing Children. And We Know that Vanny need Remnant to Resurrect William. By placing the New Kids Souls in Blob she would basically have an Endless Energy Supply of Torment. And by using the Animatronic that had Souls Previously it would be much easier to place New Souls in them.

This makes sense, but one thing doesn't add up: It wasn't scraps of multiple animatronics Afton had Vanny use to make his new body. He had Glamrock Bonnie decommissioned and used him for his body. That's the one issue I see with this theory.

Burntrap was likely created from someone either tampering with another animatronic or just breaking GB, with Vanny stealing whatever she could from his Endo, and using what was left of Afton's previous suits as well as junk/trash and metal to rebuild him. I got the metal bit from the 4 things of metal on the back of his head and torso.

I 109% agree with this theory. I do have a theory though, I believe the blob first started out as Ennard aka all the Funtime animatronics merged together, which they would later merge with more souls before ending up in the fnaf 6 restaurant, creating the monster “Molten Freddy.” After that everything is pretty much spot on. Althoguh I believe everyone who was merged to create Molten Freddy were freed, I believe the leftover body of Molten Freddy was used once again, but this time it merged with more pieces again to create the blob. Something I think is interesting, the puppet mask has no tear trails, if I'm remembering correctly those only showed up after it was possessed, meaning it's likely Charlie has passed on, and that means it highly likely the other children save Cissy have as well, I don't know if I spelled that right. I think since remnant is supposed to burn up in high heat that the original spirits are gone and the ones possessing the blob are the children who Vanny killed with Cissy likely there helping them like Charlie did before her.

I have some things to say about this peticular animatronic : First : I found that too bad that we see it only for few minutes in the game. We only see him standing here, breathing like an unstable insane guy and see his wire tentacles in the lair of vanny. If I have to change some things, I will gave some ideas. The blob is actually the first creature we have to face before meeting William afton. He will chase us by creating some scrapped animatronics to catch us and his whole body will climb the walls and the celling to get us by surprise. His tentacles can put some obstacles on our way. Two : I do think that the blob have a very bizarre name and his whole body seems not finished. It's like he have been quickly made at the end on the production of the game. Three : a simple question : why does he attacking us ? Did we done something wrong or he just hate every living things ? That's all I can say for now.

I don't really like how all this undermines Pizzeria Simulator. With Glitchtrap (and therefore Burntrap) I could easily imagine that it's not Afton, who is still stuck in UCN, but merely a viral copy of his that was derived off an imprint on the recovered hardware. But the Blob is worse to me. If the souls of the children are animating it, then they are still not released and Henry's plan and sacrifice were for naught. Perhaps only Cassidy (?) is animating the Blob - the soul that couldn't let go of torturing Afton - but the others are still truly freed? The various animatronic heads don't have to imply their former inhabiting souls are still stuck in them.

Glitchtrap IS Afton. Yet there is still the question of why there are animatronic pieces inside the blob that have actually been abandoned/destroyed… Also remnant is destroyed when reaching high temperatures, but Agony isn’t. If take a look into the story of the stitch wraith (I think book three of Fazbear Frights books) we see that the emotion of Agony is the strongest and can bring animatronics such as the stitch wraith to life. Meaning it isn’t the children killing Burntrap but the agony they felt during their murder and time as animatronics Very good video ❤️

I think you may actually have over-complicated its nature. Its behavior doesn't necessarily need to include the souls of Afton's victims in order to be explained. All it needs to have is the leftover programming. It's not really a thinking, feeling machine -- it's just spastic and lashing out at random. Which it does at a time when Afton is in the same area, ergo I don't think it would really be correct to say that whatever is inside the Blob is capable of forming emotions, much less motivations. But just because it doesn't have souls does not mean it does not have memories. Which might explain why it attacks Gregory and Burntrap while ignoring Glamrock Freddy. It knows it did hunt humans like Gregory, but not necessarily why. And no, I don't think we've seen the last of Afton OR Burntrap. In fact, in the inevitable sequel (or, God willing, a DLC expansion for Security Breach), I expect the final battle will once again be against William Afton, this time referred to as BLOBTRAP.

Focus on the character of William's uncle, Daniel Afton, he is the brother of William's father who inherited the Afton family fortune because William's crazy father was removed from the list of main heirs of William's grandfather's fortune, now Daniel initially does not believe in the crime of his nephew William's case, then he sent his entourage to investigate all places of William's business, in one of William's laboratories which had been investigated by the people who were asked by Daniel to find rampant (remember William's formula for immortality) Daniel who was interested in rampant finally became like William himself and finally at the end of the year 2020s (between 2026-2027) acquired the entertainment company fazzbear and founded the pizza fazzbear Megaplex as a cover, because he is a millionaire and respected in the city, the case of missing children there was not highlighted or investigated by the police because he was bribed by fazzbear entertainment who had controlled his uncle led William Afton. Btw, this is just one theory that came from fans, but maybe in the next FNAF series there will be an interesting new storyline.
