I don’t know if this video was primarily done by AI but it is not very informative. You show pictures of the Diamond when talking about the Baron. You don’t give the fuel burn at max cruise speed for either aircraft. You really have not done the job that you say you are going to do from the start.

Thanks for making the video. However, constructive feedback. You've used images/media that are unrelated to the two airplanes you're reviewing. Please consider this next time. A lot of viewers are pilots or aviation enthusiasts who will catch these errors and mention them in the comments.

Baron empty weight, 400 lbs? I'm impressed! How about operating Ceilings and price? Thanks for the update, but not very objective.
@onebravotango Жыл бұрын
Absolutely, the empty weight of the Beechcraft Baron G58 is indeed impressive and reflects its engineering excellence. Speaking from my own experience as a pilot and fellow aviation enthusiast, I've been flying with "One Bravo Tango." Comparing the Beechcraft Baron G58 and the Diamond DA-62, two exceptional twin-engine aircraft that excel in technology and comfort with competitive pricing. However, I'm not sure if it's available in my country.

Empty weight is just short of 4000 pounds. Clearly a minimum of effort put into this video. Didn't even proofread the script before running it through the speech to text nor when they were furiously typing out wrong information for the screen text.

Made in my hometown. I’ve wanted a Baron, ever since i had the tremendous opportunity to fly in one when I was 10 years old. Short flight around Wichita, KS but the awe factor has stayed with me for 36 years. Never have had the privilege to pilot one, though……

Up front, I’m a Baron owner, so I’m biased, but I know both. A Baron ground roll is only 1400-1600ft at sea level. Regular cruise is 180-190 KTAS. High speed cruise is 200-210KTS. Diamond is slow, 140-160KTAS. Baron is burning typically 26-30 gallons per hour at cruise. Diamond is 22-24GPH. Baron can seat 6 full adult males. I’ve done it. But usually a mix of male-female, or 3 or 4 adults + 2 or 3 children is fine. Can realistically take 5 adults no problem. Diamond can handle 3 adult males, or 4 average sized adults. Barons are fairly reliable, Diamonds are not. There is a reason why I own a Baron. The Diamond twin, newer tech, but is slow, and a dog. Baron will smoke it for dead.

Which diamond? That fuel flow doesn’t seem to match the da62.
@juliusouma4474 Жыл бұрын
I just wanted to let you know that your Post is not correct. Diamond DA62 burns a maximum of 18 gal/hour both sides cruising at 192Kts. At a normal cruise, at 75% Power setting, it cruises at 160kts Burning a total of 14.2 gal/hour on both sides.
@WarrenatCLS Жыл бұрын
@@juliusouma4474 yes, I acknowledge I accidentally doubled the Diamond’s fuel flow. My Baron does 194 ktas@28gph at 65% power, about 210ktas @ 32-35 gph @ 75% power. Although I don’t cruise at full power, I have hit redline in level flight 1000’ and below @ 224kias /224 ktas @ 100% power at 50gph. Barons are quick airplanes, although it comes at the price of fuel burn. Typically in the Midwest with cooler weather, my initial climbout is 3000fpm to 3000ft, then typically 1500 to 1000fpm to 11,000ft @ cruise climb 130kias. In hot locations such as south Florida, initial climbout below 32-35C is 1500-2000fpm to 3000ft, then 1500-1000fpm. When temps are very high, 35-42C, main issue is cylinder cooling below 380F, full power takeoff then derated initial climbout is only 1000-1500fpm.

@@WarrenatCLS In Personal Transportation, you need to minimize overspending. Because it is not the only thing in life to Spend Money on. Make it affordable like a car. So if there is any GA out there in the present generation, that can have Safety and Cost in Perspective, then it is Diamond DA62. The Speed is not such a big factor, because the time saving is minimal when you do any other GA. For the regular short distance like 3 hours and below, I don't feel the cost because it's like driving my usual Car. Above all, you can see that the second Engine in DA62 is a big lifesaver in the event that one of the Engines fails Mid-air. With DA62, you are always at peace. Your video was poorly edited for image content and information. Incorrect information was given about the baron and despite showing it had significantly less range than the DA62, the wording made it sound superior. This video needs to be scrapped and completely redone with objective factual information.
