Just did the Bean and Bear lake loop last weekend. Very tough and popular spot but enjoyed the views

There were parts of the trail that were quite rugged in that area.

I don't know when you did your hike but we were on the Section in Tettegouche SP in the middle of September and with all the streams and rivers low we just rocked hopped across the river where the bridge was out by the High Falls. Obviously, don't try if the water levels are normal. You still could have gone to the High Falls and down the steps to the bottom of the falls. I don't know what other Falls you missed, maybe the 2 step Falls? That was a short hike in as well.

@@outdooradventureswithshane3319 We felt like we’d be able to cross without the bridge but I wasn’t sure how firm their closure was. Didn’t want to set a bad example if they were strict about it.

I'm from up there. Country Inn in Two Harbors I'd a nice place to stay It's a touristy small friendly town on da lake.
