You have quite a variety of figs with so many exotic names. As a beginning fig grower I am hoping to catch the fig bug but cannot imagine collecting anywhere near the number of varieties you have. But who knows? With superb videos about figs like what you offer, I hope I can keep up my interest in getting more fig varieties that will thrive here in east central Tenn. Thanks Fig Boss for another insightful video!

As someone new to the world of figs, don't get overwhelmed by all of the varieties. There are some standard and easy to find figs that are really hard to beat in TN like Smith or Celeste. From there you can choose other varieties with different flavor profiles and ripening windows.

Hello, I updated everyone on the figs about 3 weeks ago: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2nQnaKGr7ZrnLcsi=WSyAJJVUTC7et1Kz - There's not a whole lot going on yet. The figs are protected and our winter low was only 14F. Soon I will be uncovering everything and assessing any additional damage.

"Right now." "This time of the year." You need to state clearly when this video is being made. I honestly can't find it. At some point you mentioned September but is September over or what? Your whole discussion hinges on "late season" but you never actually say the month or your location which is also rather important!
