So the Alternative discrimination can be set to discriminate out a particular target and then can be switched on and off as needed and works separate from the normal discrimination?

Hi Jason yes that is correct, it's a nice feature

@@paulwarrenmetaldetecting 100% agree! P.S. By the way, how do you deal with the deep signals of rusty iron targets? I can't do it very well - it beeps in color even with a discrim of more than 30

@@diggerman Hi I haven't used the machine enough yet to understand it 100%, a few months down the line with a lot of use I'll write a comprehensive blog about the Vista X

@@paulwarrenmetaldetecting Ok, this will be interesting. I have been using VISTA for two seasons. What I wrote about is probably the only problem. But this is true for most detectors, not only for VISTA. P.S. By the way, I did the Monte test for Vista, in the air, on the ground, and underground. Maybe it will be interesting. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jn61pI2Apqtso9U

knock out ring pulls and any gold goes along with it

I don't knock out ring pulls on any of my units, this video is to show that the Vista X does well with unmasking nonferrous targets in close proximity ring pulls if they're phased out
